Shot Online and Real Soccer - sports fixes to keep an eye on

There are a pair of gaming announcements for fans of both Golf and Soccer that caught my eye earlier from OnNet

First, the press release for Shot Online:

OnNet Europe today announced the Shot Online Charity event to aid flood victims in Germany and Poland. Starting on Thursday, June 20th, Shot Online players can tee off with a great golf experience online and help raise money for the German Red Cross aid effort. Players can participate by donating in-game currency, whether purchased or earned, to the effort, or by purchasing the new, limited edition German golf ball for the price of €3, 81% of golf ball proceeds will be donated to the German Red Cross and the flood relief effort.

“We are deeply sorry for the victims of the terrible flooding in Germany and Poland and want to do our part to help out the people most affected by this disaster”, said Kyeong Youn, Production Director from OnNet Europe. “We hope that players will log on during the event and help us raise money to aid those in the flood regions”.

About Shot Online

Shot Online is no ordinary online sports game - it is a highly accurate golf simulation experience with deep role-playing gameplay. Drawing from the celebrated history of golf, players can access realistic and rare items to utilize as well as interact with other golf and online game enthusiasts through a series of quests and competitions that gradually help enhance their character abilities.

The new season of Shot Online presents new and improved gameplay with advanced capabilities, including the new three-tiered Worldwide Tour system: players enter the Masters School, which they must complete before qualifying for the Masters Ranking Tour, which then qualifies them for the World Ranking Tour. New quests have been added, along with Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced courses with diverse weather conditions to add a bigger challenge. Log on to Shot Online today for the most realistic golf experience online, and help OnNet Europe in the flood relief effort.

And then next up, Real Soccer has moved on from its initial beta to an open beta that really should get a look.

Celebrating the recent wrap of the football season, OnNet Europe today announced that Real Soccer will kick off its open beta testing phase next Wednesday (26/07/2013), allowing players throughout Europe to log in and play! Featuring full character customization, strategic management capabilities and full interactivity with online players throughout Europe, Real Soccer is looking for players to help make it the best online gaming experience available for football fans! “Timing for Real Soccer Open Beta is perfect for curing the post-season blues”, said Kyeong Youn, Production Director from OnNet Europe. “We encourage players to use this time to build their players, hone their skills and execute the strategies that their favorite coaches should employ during the regular season”.

The launch of the open beta includes a special sign up promotion for new players, who get the chance to win Amazon vouchers as well as in-game currency when they play for a certain amount of time. OnNet Europe will also be giving out special in-game items to those players who participated in the closed beta test and return to Real Soccer in the first week of open beta.

About Real Soccer

Real Soccer will exercise your football strategy and execution skills through dedicated practice and friendly competition to keep the season going! Providing a realistic football experience online, in Real Soccer you can defeat sophisticated AI or play against other players from all over Europe to reign supreme. Featuring full customization options, you must first create a unique look for your character and then choose from any position, (including goalie), to steadily improve your character’s skills and earn new customizations through diligent practice. Once you have built the perfect player, you can challenge Real Soccer’s strong AI opponents, or join online leagues to compete and interact with other players throughout Europe. You can also create clubs of your own to battle it out against friends and other players in front of a vocal, energetic stadium crowd.
