Ruin Raiders Available on Nintendo Switch & PC and Godstrike Now on PlayStation 4 & Xbox One

MADRID -- Oct. 14, 2021 -- Ruin Raiders, the turn-based roguelite from Overpowered Team and Freedom Games, dives onto Steam, Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch today. Godstrike, the boss rush bullet-hell shooter from the same developer and publisher duo, simultaneously releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In Ruin Raiders, command an army of animals on a journey of no return into a massive ever-changing labyrinth in search of long-lost riches. Outfit squads with hundreds of items including powerful weapons, skill-boosting enhancements, and game-changing abilities to battle the mysterious enemies lying in wait inside the procedurally generated ancient city ruins.

Utilize units in turn-based tactics combat where positioning to overcome each encounter determines life or death. Animal-specific abilities provide the upper hand to ensure survival during white-knuckle showdowns. Uncover blueprints to craft weapons and stat-enhancing attachments before diving deeper into the ruins. Return to camp and spend Eternium to purchase persistent base upgrades, expand your squad with additional animal species, and more.

Godstrike sends the Herald of a forgotten deity to defend the world against its seven sacrosanct siblings. Challenge the cursed avatars and survive chaotic fights where time remaining is both health in battle and currency afterward. Avoid incoming damage before performing time-based abilities to turn the tide of each fight, unlocking new skills with each felled demigod.

Take on alternate game modes for an additional test of might. Advance through Arcade Mode, with every ability and skill unlocked to aim for the fastest completion time, or face an unpredictable fate in the Roguelike mode. Learn and master powerful abilities like True Shot, a homing attack capable of curving around arenas, to deal massive damage at crucial moments, among other tide-turning skills.

“We’re thrilled to showcase the hard work that OverPowered Team put into Ruin Raiders and Godstrike,” said Benjamin Tarsa, Director of Publishing, Freedom Games. “Players will love what they have accomplished and continue to showcase their team’s talent at creating special experiences for each console platform.”
