Motor City Comic Con - Cosplay Contest: Part 1
Certainly one of the biggest parts of any comic con is the elaborate cosplay that you see throughout the event. Earlier this week we took a look at some of the best we saw on the show floor, but Saturday evening was the official contest and it was an entertaining one.

Despite many big names at the Motor City Comic Con, I am not sure there was one my wife and I were more interested in than seeing Felicia Day. Despite being the first question and answer panel of the day, she brought a lot of energy to it and did her best to answer any and all fan questions.

With numerous ways in which to spend the day at Motor City Comic Con, part of the challenge is figuring out how to prioritize your time. One of the most popular ways of doing so are the panel question and answer forums. One of the most interesting of these we attended was Pom Klementieff's - better known to many as Mantis from Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Undoubtedly one of the most popular aspects of any Comic Con is the cosplay. A huge variety of fandoms are represented at each and every one, and there were numerous excellent ones on display at the Motor City Comic Con as well.
Motor City Comic Con - Initial Impressions
Simply put, Cons are a little busy and a lot of fun.
They bring together an incredibly wide variety of people from different walks of life and interests that find commonality in favorite fandoms. This was actually our first time attending the Motor City Comic Con, but it was impossible not to come away impressed for multiple reasons during this, their 30th year.
