Earlier this year, we had a chance to sit down and play Boss Monster: The Dungeon Building Card Game, and we enjoyed it a great deal. Now that the video game season is slowing down a bit, we thought this would be an excellent time to visit some more tabletop games, including this expansion to the original game.

The concept behind Boss Monster is actually a relatively simple one that plays out rather quickly once you get the hang of it. You assume the role of a Boss Monster and you are trying to lure heroes into a dungeon that you progressively build up over time. Those heroes will attempt to kill you, and you will try to return the favor in kind. It is a fun premise that works well and is surprisingly quick and easy to learn.
