  • House Flipper Remastered Collection - PC Review

I enjoy simulation-type games, and I enjoyed the original release of House Flipper, but I never got around to getting the DLC. When the remastered version of the game was released, I figured it would be the best way to experience the DLC while checking out how the base game was upgraded.

Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence - PS4 Review

Deep, robust, engaging - all of these and so much more could be used to describe Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence, and they somehow still feel lacking after the substantial number of hours of my life put into this game. Prepare to spend a lot of time and effort - but if you do the experience you receive in return more than rewards the investment in what is so far, this year's best strategy game.

Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence - PC Preview

I have been hearing about Nobunaga's Ambition from Nick for a long time. If you read his Retro Reflection here, you realize just how long - we are talking NES days. He is not the only one who has been following the various updates and release announcements about Koei Tecmo's upcoming Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence. Having had a chance to spend some time with the game, my thoughts are quite favorable - and I thought I would share the experience.

DLC bonus content announced for upcoming Nobunaga's Ambition

I cannot overstate how excited I was to see Nobunaga's Ambition announced recently. With that in mind, I may be following release information a bit more closely than other titles.

Nobunaga getting a North American and European release

Now, this one hits home especially well for me, because I first cut my strategy game loving teeth on Nobunaga's Ambition for the NES many, many moons ago. As a kid I loved the KOEI games and their take on historical strategy (as well as fantasy titles like Bandit Kings of Ancient China). I don't even want to guess how many hours in total I sunk into these games - and for me it all started with Nobunaga.
