Magpie Country Reveals a Fast-Paced Co-op FPS Heading to Steam

September 10, 2026 | Magpie Country today revealed RAILRIDERS, a fast-paced 1–4 player co-op FPS coming to PC via Steam, set in a dieselpunk Wild West overrun by cryptids and corrupted machinery.

Welcome to the Neo-Frontier, where the rails are the only safe way through territory consumed by the Old Growth. Beyond the tracks, abandoned towns, mines, and industrial sites crawl with deadly cryptids and machines twisted by the infestation.

Become a Railrider and take on the jobs nobody else will. Board the train and ride deep into hostile territory, jump off with your crew to complete dangerous contracts, then fight your way back to the tracks and catch your ride out. Recover Amber, clear infestations, escort cargo, and take on other jobs across the frontier.

Your train is your way in. And your way back out. Once you leave the safety of the rails, it keeps moving. Getting the job done is only half the problem. Your crew still has to survive the fight back and make it aboard together.

Combat in RAILRIDERS is built around staying on the move. Slide, dash, and jetpack through hordes as you race between objectives, revive downed teammates, and make your way back toward the tracks. Combine any two of eight Archetypes to create your class, then customize your weapons with mods to shape your playstyle.

Changing objectives and unpredictable Blooms keep the firefights evolving from contract to contract, altering the environment and the threats crews face beyond the rails.
