New Market Corrections DLC for Offworld Trading Company!

PLYMOUTH, Mich., Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ - Stardock and Mohawk Games released a free multiplayer client for their critically acclaimed real-time strategy game, Offworld Trading Company. A new DLC called Market Corrections that focuses on why humans fled the Earth also released today.

Offworld Trading Company is an economic strategy game by Soren Johnson, lead designer for Civilization IV. Players are trying to build a corporation on Mars, but the competition is fierce - others are standing in the way of success, and victory is hard-earned through mastering and manipulating the Martian stock market.

Players who enjoy the free multiplayer mode can upgrade to the core version of the game to gain access to the campaign, daily challenges, and skirmish mode.

The Market Corrections DLC tells the story of why Earth needed to colonize Mars through the eyes of the people currently trying to survive there. It features new single-player narrative campaigns that focus on three different CEOs - Reni-6, Ilana Kamat, and Frank Dawson.

Sorcerer King - PC Review

The strategy/RPG hybrid may be my favorite gaming genre ever. I cannot tell you the number of hours I sunk into games like Shining Force, Fire Emblem, Warsong, King's Bounty and more. I love the fantasy scenarios, turn-based strategy and the numbers crunching that I do in my mind to make my strategies come to life. Now that it has exited Early Access, I feel that Sorcerer King may be on track as the best strategy game of 2015 to date.

In all seriousness, the Galactic Civilizations titles have been the pinnacle of space-based 4X strategy titles since Masters of Orion tucked its tale and ran away some ten years ago (or so) because of the massively successful and extra awesome Galactic Civilizations (GalCiv) was released by Stardock. Over the course of the last 11 years we have seen a couple of expansions and a sequel and then it went silent. Stardock continued to release some excellent titles, such as Demigod, a MOBA before MOBA's were a thing and then Sins of a Solar Empire (a massively successful RTS/4X game); years later we were gifted with a tidbit about a revisit to the GalCiv franchise. Months later I have a preview copy sitting at my desk and I am simply salivating.
