I just figured I would take a few moments today to plug a couple of the other sites I write for - Digitally Downloaded and Otaku Gaming.
A handful of places you might be interested in visiting
Good morning everyone.
After the post-a-palooza that was last week's top 30 Famicom/NES games countdown, I am taking it a bit slower this week, with a review slated for Thursday morning. In the meantime, I have been getting some articles up on a couple of other sites that I wanted to make you aware of. Hopefully this does not read as a giant advertisement - I just want to make readers aware of other sites that may interest them.

Slightly different title than what I usually go with, but there is a reason for that. Otaku Gaming will be merging over to Digitally Downloaded going forward. So, this will probably be my last post where I am linking to articles directly at Otaku Gaming. So what will change? Hopefully my articles will get even more readers, but... that's about it.
I will continue to post the same kinds of stories over on Digitally Downloaded, including some additional ones now as well. I fully plan to keep posting here on Chalgyr's Game Room as well, so feel free to visit my articles on both sites until you are completely sick of me (it likely won't take long).
So, to start things off - I have guest written reviews on Digitally Downloaded in the past, but I got to self-post my first review for them, and the game was an excellent one to be sure. Orcs Must Die! 2. I will be getting a review up over here as well, but if you are really curious to see what I thought of the game, feel free to read this review in the meantime.

And over at Otaku Gaming, I have had quite a few new posts go up over the last week or so. My latest one? Good news for Final Fantasy fans who have been looking forward to Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Things did not seem so rosy last week when rumors the game had been 'quietly cancelled' surfaced, but a new article from IGN states that the game is alive and well.

With the holidays and my recent bout of being sick, my posting has definitely been down of late. That being said, I've still be getting fairly regular articles up here and at Otaku Gaming.
I posted a review of Record of Agarest War Zero for the PlayStation 3 there.

Well, with me having been ridiculously sick, my posting volume on Otaku Gaming was certainly affected as well. Still, I managed to get out a fair number of posts and maybe a few will interest you? Let's start off with my article about Ragnarok Tactics and its release information.

Lots and lots of things. First off - thanks for all the looks and comments during E3. I decided to go with a more ddigest-form or it this year as opposed to last year where I was tossing out some high Twitter traffic and doing just a couple of roundup pages. I know I got a couple of comments that I managed to highlight a few games that others missed - was my E3 posting of use/interest then by and large or not?
Well, aside from E3 and a lot of the big name announcements, I was surprised at how many other games and companies that were a bit lesser-known were also putting out tons of announcements, and I tried to track a lot of that over on Otaku Gaming. It wound up being a pretty active week and change on that site for me as well, so here's the breakdown for those who are interested.
We can kick things off with the announcement that Dark Souls will be releasing DLC for consoles to include that extra content coming out for the Prepare to Die PC version.

Happy May! Welcome to a new month - and to kick off the month, I have some gaming info to share with the rest of the class! :)
First off, there's a little title called God of War: Ascension coming out in the somewhat near future. As a big fan of the earlier titles (the only one I haven't played yet is the 2nd PSP title - I plan to get the collection eventually - mmm... trophies), I have to say I'm excited about this one.

I had quite a few articles go up on Otaku Gaming over the last week or so, with several more on the way. One that was particularly interesting to me was the the email from Atlus talking about the end of Demon's Souls receiving online support.

I'm so glad you asked! (even though I know you really didn't!)
I think one of the more interesting finds I had was about Guardian Cross, an iOS (and according to the Facebook page dedicated to the game - Android soon as well) collectible card game that is both free, and by Sqaure Enix.
