Mega Cat Studios Breathes New Life Into Your Favorite Nintendo Consoles This Month With Three New Games

 Super Fanger, Plyuk, and Old Towers bring pixel-perfect excitement to the SNES and NES on January 29


PITTSBURGH, PA – January 7, 2025 – The retro-obsessed felines at Creative-first indie game publisher Mega Cat Studios today announced plans to bring three exciting new titles to the NES and Super Nintendo this month, injecting a fresh dose of fun into players’ favorite pieces of retro hardware.

Releasing exclusively on the Mega Cat Studios online store on January 29 are the frantic SNES maze chaser Super Fanger, along with the action-puzzler Old Towers, and the cerebral puzzle platformer Plyuk, both for the NES.

Here’s a rundown of each of these upcoming retro releases launching later this month:



Super Fanger:
Get ready for the wildest game of tag yet. Chase down your friends or evade their pursuit to avoid capture. Tackle dynamic levels and execute special moves to outsmart your rivals. Keep your nerve as you make every twist and turn count!

Plyuk:

Old Towers:
Get ready to climb your way to the top in this addictive action puzzle game! Dash across the screen and across walls, ceilings, and more as you collect all the coins and find the way to the exit past devious hazards and traps.





  •     Dash your way through over 40 levels
  •     Swap between multiple characters to solve devious, brain-boggling puzzles
  •     Dodge arrows, spikes, and crushing blocks
