Obsidian Moon, a text-based detective adventure set in the 1930s, has just been revealed with an announcement trailer. Created by Lost Cabinet Games, the title promises a psychological descent into a series of murders that tie into a growing, otherworldly conspiracy hidden beneath the city’s surface.
As Carter, a once-respected homicide detective haunted by grief and failure, you’ll be asked to solve a string of interconnected cases through logic, instinct, and the steady collapse of your own sanity.
Armed with vintage forensics, gritty intuition, and limited time, you’ll follow leads, interrogate suspects, and make costly choices that may bring you closer to the truth, or break you entirely.

Inspired by Lovecraftian horror, 1930s noir, and Mediterranean chthonic mythologies, Obsidian Moon melds storytelling with genre-bending mechanics that echo titles like Stacklands, Papers, Please, and Cultist Simulator. Every case is a story. Every choice leaves a scar.
