As someone who grew up absolutely loving TMNT, I had high hopes for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan. After all, PlatinumGames had knocked it out of the park with the nostalgia-inducing Transformers: Devastation. Perhaps the game was rushed, or the development team just never quite got a handle on the material, but unfortunately this TMNT game is far too repetitive with some aggravating mechanics to top the experience off.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan Gameplay Trailer
I loved what PlatinumGames did with Transformers last year, so you can bet I'll be keeping an eye on TMNT as it draws closer.
New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game officially confirmed
There have been rumors for weeks now about the upcoming TMNT game by PlatinumGames, but the official announcement comes with some cool assets to boot. Considering just how much I enjoyed Transformers, I can't wait to see what they do with this title.
Transformers: Devastation - PS4 Review
October 26, 2015Activision, PlatinumGames, PS4, review, Sony PlayStation 4, Transformers: Devastation
PlatinumGames knows action gaming and their latest offering with Transformers: Devastation is arguably their most entertaining yet. Admittedly, the experience is not as long or as deep as some other titles out there, but the look and feel of the show shines through and the end result is a title that I found impossible to put down until I had won. And then I started to play again.
Bayonetta 2 - Wii U Review
For those who say Nintendo is only interested in being a family-friendly console, I present Bayonetta 2. The first game took a lot of people by surprise (myself included) with its mix of over-the-top action, religious references and a lead character who is quite sexualized. For those who missed the first game? Relax, it is part of the package here (and also updated for the Wii U), but the real treat is in the sequel which offers a more refined experience this time around.

I had seen pictures and video of Vanquish before and after it released. It looked interesting at a glance, but not something I was going to plunk any money down on to play. Shooters are not exactly hard to come by.
