Hellslave II: Judgment of the Archon Releases Today on Steam!

Montpellier, France – July 17, 2026 | Independent French developer Ars Goetia and publisher Dear Villagers have announced that dark fantasy dungeon crawler HellSlave II: Judgment of the Archon will release on August 4th, 2026 on PC via Steam. A new trailer has premiered at Convergence Games Showcase for the occasion.

In the same way as its predecessor, HellSlave II: Judgement of the Archon will be a dungeon crawler, in which players will have to put an end to the eternal conflict waged by 6 Demon lords. In a demonic twist of fate, demonic powers will await players, but their use will come at a terrible cost as Heaven has granted a last reprieve to humanity after sending the Archon of Judgement to wipe out the Demon lords and humans alike.

In each of their runs in HellSlave II: Judgement of the Archon, players will have the opportunity to discover a deeper narration, enriched gameplay features, and handcrafted art more detailed than ever, all wrapped in a grim dungeon crawler gameplay experience.

Thousands of years of demonic warfare have torn the world to shreds. Six demon lords, locked in an endless war, have brought ruin to all. Tired of this infernal chaos, the heavens have unleashed the Archon of Judgment, an unstoppable force set to destroy everything.

Players will choose between six classes to create their character, from spectral assassin to plague-bearing mage to fight off demons. New Demonic Powers will also be granted to players due to the corruption from Demon Lords, introducing new skills and multiplying character customization opportunities. Mixing and matching skills and powers from the flexible talent trees will prove essential in the battle to save humanity.

Players will also travel through an immersive top-down overworld, and explore dungeons, ruined villages and sanctuaries to do quests, gather loot and uncover lore and secrets. Combat remains a core feature in HellSlave II, and the classic Turn-Based HellSlave combat system is featured in this entry as well, and includes improvements and new mechanics, while still taking time into account for each action to balance aggression and survival.

Echoes of Mystralia Announces Early Access Release Date!

At last, Watchers.

We’re thrilled to announce that Echoes of Mystralia is releasing in Early Access on August 11th, 2026!

This announcement marks a huge milestone for us as we’re ready to share the magical world of Mystralia with everyone.

The demo was just the beginning, and we’re incredibly excited for you to experience everything that’s waiting for you in Early Access. For more information about what’s in store at launch, take a look at our latest Devlog.

While the core experience will be playable at release, we’re taking some time to finalize the last stage of development alongside the community to make Echoes of Mystralia the best it can be for full release.

And for some even more good news, your saves and progression will carry over from the demo to the Early Access version of the game, with one exception:

We've reworked how Echo Fragments are earned and how Altar upgrades are unlocked. In the demo, the Echo Fragments are intentionally very easy to obtain, but they don’t serve much of a purpose. In Early Access, Echo Fragments will become a core progression resource and are earned by completing Watcher Duties and other challenges.

Because of this change, when you transfer your demo save to Early Access, all of your unlocks and progression will be preserved, but your Echo Fragments will be reset to 0.

This ensures everyone experiences the new progression system as intended. Otherwise, players who accumulated large amounts of Echo Fragments in the demo could immediately purchase every Altar upgrade, skipping the challenges designed around earning them and missing an important part of the game's progression.

Thank you to everyone who played the demo, shared feedback, reported bugs, and helped us improve the game. Your support has been invaluable as we move into this next chapter.

Can't wait until launch? Jump into the demo and start your spellcrafting adventure today!

Strategy Medieval City Builder Arrives on Xbox Series X|S; PC and PlayStation Release in August!

Starting July 16, Feudal Baron: King's Land will be available on XBOX Series X|S, a medieval city builder with strategy and simulation elements. The game lets players not only build and grow a city but also run their own politics and fight for influence in the world of barons. The title is also available on PC and is coming to PlayStation 5 on August 6.

Feudal Baron: King's Land is the work of independent Polish studio Sim Farm S.A., known for the Farm Manager series, among others. The game first launched on PC in 2024. Ultimate Games S.A. is responsible for preparing and releasing the console versions.

Build, Grow, Fight!

Feudal Baron: King's Land is a medieval city builder that combines strategy and simulation elements. The title takes players into the world of medieval barons, the vassals, and stewards of landed estates. The adventure begins with a small, poor settlement, and the main task is to grow it into a thriving city.

Feudal Baron: King's Land offers a story campaign, standalone scenarios, and a free-play sandbox mode. In the main story mode, players take on the role of an ambitious baron fighting to reclaim a lost legacy.

Gameplay covers a range of elements tied to developing a medieval city. Players raise new buildings, oversee production and the supply of key resources, and fight off invaders when needed. The developers have prepared an innovative building range system that allows fields, workshops, marketplaces, and mines to be linked into a single logistics chain.

The title lets players run their own politics, set taxes, and issue decrees. Some situations call for combat as well. In battle mode, players personally command their troops and can, for example, defend a besieged city.

Success in Feudal Baron: King's Land also requires attending to the population's needs, including food, schools, taverns, and churches. Unexpected plagues and disasters must be dealt with, too.

Feudal Baron: King's Land - Key Features

  • Build and grow your settlement
  • Manage your city's economy
  • Issue decrees and run your politics
  • Fight for influence and territory
  • Meet the needs of your citizens

Feudal Baron: King's Land launches on XBOX Series X|S on July 16, 2026, and arrives on PlayStation 5 on August 8, 2026. The standard console price is 14.99 USD/EUR or the equivalent in other currencies.

Sinking City 2 PC Specs and Prices Revealed Ahead of August 18th Launch!

10 July 2026, Kyiv, Ukraine | Today, Frogwares has opened pre-orders for The Sinking City 2, its upcoming Lovecraftian survival horror game, which is launching on August 18, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

A new trailer featuring brand-new gameplay has been released alongside a look at much of the bonus in-game content available to players who pre-order the game.

PRICE REVEAL | UNDER THE GENRE'S GOING RATE

Frogwares has also announced the game's pricing, with the Standard Edition set at USD $49.99 / EUR €49.99 / GBP £41.35.
Seeing pre-orders go live is quite a surreal milestone for us. It means the game is basically at the finish line, and that's not something we were always sure would happen. The Sinking City 2 is the most ambitious game we've ever made, built under circumstances most studios never have to plan for by a team working remotely across Ukraine and beyond. Even now, with around two months till launch to go, we made the call to move the entire project over to Unreal Engine 5.8 because we believed the performance gains were worth the effort for our players.

Our pricing follows the same philosophy. While most survival horror games today launch at $60 or more, we're launching at $49.99 because we want to be fair and give as many people as possible the chance to step into Arkham with us.  - Sergiy Oganesyan, Publishing Director, Frogwares.

PC SPECS REVEALED

Frogwares has also released its current minimum and recommended PC specs for the game.

MINIMUM:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 11 x64
  • PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7-8700K | AMD Ryzen 5 3600X

  • VRAM DIRECTX: Version 12
  • STORAGE: 70 GB available space, SSD required.
  • ADDITIONAL NOTES: Targeting 1080p \ 30fps on Low preset. The listed specifications were evaluated using TSR and comparable technologies.

RECOMMENDED:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 11 x64
  • PROCESSOR: Core i5-14600K | AMD Ryzen 5 7600X

  • Standard Edition - Base game, Chthonic Arsenal pack - $49.99
  • Deluxe Edition -  Base game, Chthonic Arsenal pack, and The Arkham Field Kit - $54.99
  • Premium Edition - Base game, Chthonic Arsenal pack, The Arkham Field Kit, Holloway Manor, and 24-hour advanced access - $59.99

The Chthonic Arsenal

Mythical weapons to give you options when the abyss fights back. Face Arkham in style. Wield the Chthonic Arsenal: the “Shale Mary” handgun, the “Breakwater” shotgun, and the “Tektite Tommy” SMG, each with its own look and features.

The Arkham Field Kit

Face Arkham prepared. The Arkham Field Kit adds three outfits for the main character: “The Anatomist,” “The Witness,” and “Heretic Heraldry.” It also includes three Dream Essence to learn your first Talent early and a Resource Pack with a helpful mix of ammo, healing, and crafting items to aid your first steps in the city.

The Holloway Manor

On the cliffs outside the city of Arkham, the Holloway Manor keeps its lights low. The house belongs to an old family whose history curdled into occult practice–the kind that Lovecraft would trace through buried lineages and rites that never quite ended. Rooms interlock like a puzzle box, dusty heirlooms open doors, and the house rewards your curiosity with paths you were not meant to find. See the job through, and the “Bucking Bronco” revolver you claim stays with you in the main game.

About the Developer:

The motivations and story behind Dystopicon

The project started in 2018 in a very modest way by Juan Felipe Molina, with a prototype on Itch.io and third party assets from the Unity Asset Store. Over the course of about 12 months, he expanded the story and gameplay loop, testing what worked and what didn’t. That first version achieved the mark of 12.000 downloads.

For many years he received very positive feedback about the game, and it seemed that people enjoyed it, but he didn’t have the time to dedicate to it professionally. In November 2025, Juan Felipe left his job and decided to professionally release Dystopicon on Steam.

“I have always loved dystopian stories and I am a huge fan of the great classics, especially the works of Philip K. Dick. In his novel Ubik, the protagonist has to insert a coin into different household devices in order to use them, and I really liked that idea.
I needed another mechanic to justify why the player would earn money, and I started thinking about TV and social media, and how they keep people glued to screens. What could be the next step? Getting paid for doing exactly that!

Once I had those two elements (being paid to watch TV and using that money to buy services), I started building the rest of the game.

I eventually finished the prototype with a 28-day gameplay loop where the player had to survive by watching TV and reading daily reports sent by the government.

Then the pandemic arrived, and people found themselves locked at home, watching screens, and in many cases receiving government support to help them deal with the situation.” - Juan Felipe Molina (Game Director and Lead Developer)

The mechanics had already been thoroughly tested, the story worked, but the 3D models lacked personality. That’s why Juan Felipe hired Xenia Almela, a 3D artist who gave the game the visual identity and personality it has today. In addition, Mario Alba, a 2D artist who had created a series of comics for the original game, agreed to create many more for the final version.

Thanks to all of that, Dystopicon was born and will be released as a commercial product.

Cute Roguelite Deckbuilder RPG Launching on July 22nd!

June 25, 2026 | Independent developer Death Kumiai and publisher Flashlight Games are glad to announce that Annihilated, their dark and cute roguelite deckbuilder RPG, will launch on July 22, 2026 on Steam at a price of 16.99 USD | 17.25 EUR and a launch discount of 10% during the first 2 weeks. Players will dive into a twisted world where adorable fuses with dark horror art that presents a narrative-driven dungeon crawler RPG with 4 distinct character routes. Find your favorite "broken" party member to save…and leave the others behind.

"Two major pillars shape Annihilated: the imaginative negative space offered by retro vintage games, and the complex, conflicted character writing found in text adventure games, light novels, and JRPGs circa 2010, also influences from older and recent classics as Fire Emblem, Super Mario RPG, Undertale or The Legend of Zelda. Our goal is to craft a whimsical cartoon-style game grounded in authentic human nature and weighty thematic depth." - Sabotenshi (Lead Artist & Lead Writer)

The Backstory

The legendary Hero's party vanished in the depths of a dungeon. You are the sole survivor of the rescue party sent in after them, pressing ever deeper into the cursed dungeon to find what remains of them. You have no fighting power of your own; to survive, you borrow the remaining strength of the broken heroes — each helping in their own way. And you can only bring one of them out alive.

The Dungeon

The dungeon itself is the enemy. Its monsters, traps, and curse turn on everyone who enters — the same forces that broke the Hero's party now come for you. What really happened to them, and why, is what each route reveals. You will find lurking monsters, dwindling gear, instant-death traps the moment you drop your guard — and the very curse that shattered the heroes still lingers in its halls.

Main Features

  • Choose among 4 different main routes, each one of them full of decisions that will impact your path and how things end.
  • Visual novel narrative-driven style with a deep 200.000 words script full of lovable and broken characters.
  • Roguelite dungeon crawling with high lethality, uniforgiving random events, and instant retries.
  • Turn-based timing-focused card battles where players will need to be strategic but also have good reflexes to defeat enemies.
  • Weapon Breakage System: Weapons have a durability limit but can be voluntarily destroyed for temporary combat buffs.
  • Curse points are earned from defeats and weapon breaks, and used to buy items, boost stats, or survive lethal roulettes.

Zombies Take Over the Golf Course with Waky Co-op Fun!

June 25, 2026 | Independent studio MapleTaco today launched Left Fore Dead: Zombie Battle Golf, out now on Steam. Grab up to three friends, line up your shot and try to finish a round across outrageous courses while zombies, bad decisions and your friends ruin everything.

Left Fore Dead: Zombie Battle Golf is an online and local co-op party game for 1 to 4 players, built on a simple collision of two genres: the precision of arcade golf and the panic of zombie survival. Players line up and power their shots to work their way toward the end of each course, using weapons and the environment to fight off the undead along the way. A clean shot can just as easily draw a horde out of the fog, and with friendly fire always on, your teammate is as likely to knock you off course as cover your back. Because the chaos comes from how the golf, the zombies and the players collide rather than from scripted gags, no two rounds fall apart the same way.

Rounds run a fast 5–15 minutes and are built around emergent comedy: attracting and dodging zombies, navigating awkward course geometry, choosing safe play versus going for it and deciding whether to help your teammates or quietly ruin their round. Left Fore Dead grew out of another golf project at MapleTaco, when the team got inspired to combine two things that don’t belong together, golfing and brawling and kept asking “what if you could hit zombies?”, then “what if you could hit other players too?”
“We wanted it to feel chaotic, but still readable, the kind of chaos where players understand what happened, laugh about it and immediately want to try something worse on their friends. Once we started asking ‘what if you could hit other players too?’, the game stopped being about surviving a horde and became a playground where friends create their own memorable disasters.”

— Chris from MapleTaco development team

Key Features

  • Online and local co-op for up to 4 players
  • A unique blend of arcade golf and zombie survival
  • Three distinct courses: a golf course that stops being one, a ruined city and a cramped subway
  • Zombies that react to your shots, turning every swing into a risk/reward decision
  • Sabotage and assisting your friends and teammates are as dangerous as the undead
  • Fast 5–15 minute rounds with quick restarts and emergent, never-the-same chaos
  • Escape the deadly fog using weapons and environmental mechanics

Availability

Left Fore Dead: Zombie Battle Golf is available now on Steam for PC.

About MapleTaco

MapleTaco is a small independent studio focused on building fast, chaotic multiplayer games that are easy to pick up and best enjoyed with friends. Left Fore Dead: Zombie Battle Golf reflects the studio's approach: take a familiar genre, push it somewhere unexpected and let players make their own fun.
