The Awakened Fate Ultimatum - PS3 Review

The Awakened Fate Ultimatum is the sequel to NIS America's The Guided Fate Paradox from late 2013. I enjoyed that particular title a great deal, despite the fact that the roguelike genre tends to drive me a little nutty at times. One thing that helps is that the series blends roguelike elements, without being a true representation of the genre. The Awakened Fate Ultimatum is a solid sequel that feels very similar to the first game while still making a handful of notable changes.

Three trailers and some screenshots for The Awakened Fate Ultimatum

The Guided Fate Paradox was a great game that really surprised me with its entertaining story, charming characters and gameplay hooks that merged strategy, RPG and roguelike elements into one very slick package. The following media and press release information has me that much more excited for the upcoming sequel, The Awakened Fate Ultimatum.

NIS America has some great stuff coming in 2015

2014 was probably the best year for NIS America to date in my experience. They had a number of outstanding releases, from the usual suspects like Disgaea to surprises like Danganronpa. Already some of the release plans for 2015 and getting announced, and it looks promising for fans of the company.
