Devolver Digital Drops Exciting Upcoming 2026 Games Lineup!

Austin, TX (June 7, 2026) | Publisher Devolver Digital delivered new looks and updates on four incredible upcoming games today, including new trailers and gameplay from your soon-to-be favorites. Plus there’s two just-released new demos to dive into on Steam, in case you like playing excellent new video games ahead of launch for free. Very considerate, right?

The double feature of demos brings two vastly different but rad experiences: smash your hometown to bits with a sledgehammer, or min/max the hell out of your unstoppable arsenal in a mushroom-themed deckbuilder while marching through a gorgeous, papercraft shadowbox-esque world.

The horizon boasts chances to blast into a feel-good outer space collaboration, or to kick ass with Serious Sam(s) across a beast-filled multiverse. The future of Devolver Digital-published games is good, y’all – find a full overview of all announcements below.

STARSEEKER (PC, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox – Launching June 11 in Early Access)

  • What’s New: Final pre-release gameplay trailer, direct from the captain of your new space station home
  • Trailer: https://youtu.be/p8byuGcl_94
  • Developed by System Era

STARSEEKER is an all-new standalone game set in the Astroneer universe, and the first new release from developer System Era since its meteoric, 11 million+ player debut with Astroneer.

The Captain of your new space station-shaped home among the stars welcomes you to a fresh look at gameplay in today’s trailer, touring combat, exploration, terraforming, traversal, astronaut customisation and more. A grand sense of wonder and discovery awaits: https://www.starseekergame.com/en

Virtue and a Sledgehammer (PC – Launching Summer 2026)

Revel in violent catharsis in a gripping, indie narrative exploration game. Returning to your hometown, you find everyone you ever knew digitized and replicated in machine form. This might drive some people to therapy, but you chose the brave option: a sledgehammer.

Smash through the game’s first-ever demo today, knocking down buildings and crushing machines, awakening ghosts from the past in the ruins of a place you once called home. Cinematic sequences of interactive fiction will reveal your fears, desires, and your family’s knotty web of virtues and flaws as you reflect on the meaning of family, traditions and being a misfit.

Shroom and Gloom (PC – Launching Summer 2026)

Shroom and Gloom delivers a moody, first-person roguelike deck-builder bursting with fungal foes and mountains of mega-combos. Unleash cards from your dual deck to hack, slash and roast your way through hand-drawn dungeons. Build devastating decks, and grow cards into massive abominations as you fight your way into the heart of The Gloom.

Shroom and Gloom offers unique ways for players to grow and modify their cards across two distinct decks, infinitely. Use the combat deck to survive fierce battles, and the explore deck to navigate dungeons, transform your cards, and unlock new weapons and abilities.

Shroom and Gloom’s demo is bound to grow on you as quickly as spores grow on forgotten leftovers in the back of the fridge. Dive in and breathe in some spores today.

Serious Sam: Shatterverse (PC, PS5, Xbox – Launching 2026)

Lock and load with a brand new trailer showing off a rapid-fire blast of new gameplay from a fresh, co-operative, highly replayable roguelite-style take on the classic Serious Sam FPS series - a new game in the Sam universe created for the first time by a team that is not Croteam!

In Serious Sam: Shatterverse, series antagonist Mental’s maniacal machinations have fractured the walls between universes, and now Sams from multiple dimensions must learn to work together to repair the Shatterverse.

Strafe through universes while showing down with iconic Serious Sam swarms of enemies in an early playtest for the game; keep your sights on serioussam.com for updates there. See you in the Shatterverse.
