Go Bananas in Monkey Bizniz with Up to Four Friends!

LIVERPOOL, UK – 11TH JUNE | GET READY TO GO BANANAS WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

MONKEY BIZNIZ is a new physics-driven co-op adventure game playable with up to 4 players that throws you into the role of mischievous monkeys tasked with one very important mission: collect as many bananas as possible and haul them to the summit of treacherous mountain peaks using a unstable wooden cart. Players run, climb, grab and leap through a sandbox mountain level, solving puzzles together via proximity chat. One monkey can steady the cart, another drops crates on pressure plates, a third works a crane to lower a bridge into place, and one more stupidly falls off a cliff edge shouting for help. Anything can happen at any time, including disaster.

Blending chaotic physics gameplay, open sandbox exploration, and laugh-out-loud cooperative (and competitive) moments, MONKEY BIZNIZ challenges players to survive hazardous terrain, unpredictable obstacles, and their own teammates to deliver what’s needed for the Monkey King’s feast.

One in-game moment will create laughter for weeks. The game doesn’t script the comedy, the physics, the items and your friends do.

In MONKEY BIZNIZ, players join a cheeky troop of customisable monkeys on a quest across vibrant mountain landscapes filled with hidden bananas, dangerous paths, and absurd environmental challenges.

The more bananas you collect, the greater the reward when you successfully reach extraction points at each summit, but getting there is far from simple.

PHYSICS-BASED CHAOS AT ITS CORE

At the heart of MONKEY BIZNIZ is its unpredictable physics system. Players must carefully push, pull, and balance an increasingly overloaded banana cart through unstable terrain. Every banana adds weight, and every bump in the road risks sending your precious cargo tumbling down the mountain.

From collapsing platforms and slippery shipwreck zones to swinging bridges and rolling boulders, the environment is designed to keep players constantly adapting or falling spectacularly.

CO-OP MAYHEM AND FRIENDLY BETRAYAL

MONKEY BIZNIZ supports both single-player and up to online 4-player co-op, Teamwork is essential to keep the banana cart stable, but trust is optional.

Players can cooperate to carefully navigate dangerous terrain or intentionally sabotage each other for ultimate banana dominance. The result is a constantly evolving mix of teamwork, chaos, and comedic disaster.

Each level in MONKEY BIZNIZ features large, open sandbox environments packed with bananas to collect and multiple routes to explore. Every mountain introduces unique hazards, environmental storytelling, and multiple extraction points at the summit for high-risk, high-reward gameplay.

CUSTOMISATION, UPGRADES AND BANANA MAYHEM

Players can personalise their monkey with a wide range of unlockable outfits, accessories, and silly animations. As progression continues, new upgrades, power-ups, and interactive props become available to help, or hinder, banana collection efforts.

Whether it’s boosting your cart, stabilising your load, or creating total chaos, every tool adds another layer of unpredictable fun.

“After we shipped House of Golf VR, we wanted to give the team room to play. We ran our own internal game jams over three months, seven different prototypes, no rules, no roadmap. Monkey Bizniz was the one that kept making us laugh every time we demoed it. That was the greenlight.”

Gary Nichols, CEO, Starlight Games

KEY FEATURES

  • Physics-based co-op cart chaos.
  • Solo and 4-player online/local multiplayer.
  • Large open sandbox levels.
  • Dynamic obstacle courses and environmental hazards.
  • Customisable monkey characters with expressive animations.
  • Unlockable outfits and upgrades.
  • Cooperative gameplay styles. Also, Troll your friends.
  • Comedy.

New Gameplay Trailer for Alpha Nomos: A Puppetcore Meets Rhythm Combat Game

June 10, 2026 | Independent studio RibCage Games today released a brand-new gameplay trailer for Alpha Nomos, its upcoming rhythm-action roguelite where music is the law of the world. An updated demo is live now on Steam.

The new trailer showcases refined combat, expanded power-up evolutions and the live-recorded musical weapons that give every fight in Alpha Nomos its own sound. Built on player feedback from earlier playtests, the Next Fest demo introduces a tighter combat loop, new enemy encounters and the studio's evolving "music-as-mechanic" design where every beat played on rhythm reshapes the soundtrack in real time.

Play as Cello, a tiny puppet adventurer wielding instruments as weapons in a ruined, melody-twisted world. Time attacks to the beat to unleash combos, raise your style meter and unlock musical powerups that don't just change your stats, they change how you sound. Reverb, Flanger, Delay and other real-world audio effects apply to every strike, turning each run into a unique composition. Two attack buttons. Countless combos. Played like an instrument.

Cello wakes in a shattered world overrun by corrupted puppets, where a mysterious force known as the Alpha Nomos has silenced the music. Alongside her friends, she fights to uncover what destroyed the world, what music truly is and what role she plays in restoring its rhythm.
"We didn't want rhythm bolted on top of an action game; we wanted it to be the action. Every hit, every dodge, every upgrade lives on the beat. This trailer is the first time you can really see that click into place." said RibCage.

Key Features

  • Rhythm-driven combat - Hit on the beat to deal more damage and unlock combos.
  • Live-recorded weapons - Every instrument is real. Off-beat hits play wrong notes on purpose.
  • Audio-effect powerups - Reverb, Flanger, Delay. Each one changes how you play and how you sound.
  • Roguelite runs that compose themselves - Every build becomes a new track.
  • Handcrafted world - Abandoned circuses, corrupted toys, music-reactive environments.
  • Two buttons, endless expression - Simple to start. Deep to master.

Availability

The Alpha Nomos demo is live now on Steam. Wishlist Alpha Nomos, play the demo and stay tuned for more announcements ahead of the Q3 2026 launch.

About RibCage Games

RibCage Games is an independent studio founded by four developers who left mobile gaming to build the immersive PC experiences they grew up loving. Alpha Nomos is their debut commercial release, a rhythm-action roguelite built on the belief that music isn't a backing track, it's the rulebook. We create, we don't generate.

Go Full-Throttle in Maximum Thunderness on Steam Later This Year!

Quebec City, Quebec (June 7, 2026) | Berzerk Studio just melted faces by revealing Maximum Thunderness, a shoot-em-up for 1-3 players with roguelite elements that’s brimming with full-throttle energy and bullet-dodging fun. Even better, Maximum Thunderness’ first-ever demo is available now on Steam for a limited time – surprise! Download the demo now to start kicking hordes of intergalactic alien punks off of Earth’s streets in autoscrolling firefights, ahead of the game’s full launch later this year on PC. (https://store.steampowered.com/app/4641850)

Maximum Thunderness’ reveal trailer brings bone-rattling energy with a killer theme song guaranteed to be stuck in your head for weeks. Pour a bowl of your sugariest cereal, crank your volume and prepare to watch nefarious, bandana-sporting hooligans get wrecked in the game’s first footage:

Maximum Thunderness sees Earth overrun by the Syndicate for Komplete Universal Lawless Leadership, or S.K.U.L.L., and their snarling advancement of crime culture. These lime green menaces must be stopped before achieving their ultimate goal: infiltrating the street market for hand-rolled cigarettes and pirating Earth’s best movies through residential WiFi connections. Luckily, a special unit known as Maximum Thunderness has stepped forward to protect both civilization and justice.

Choose from one of three uniquely powerful heroes and hit the streets, picking your route through branching paths of alien-swarmed stages and stopping by shops when you need a breather (or a new way to kick ass). With action inspired by the golden standards of classic shmups, Maximum Thunderness will have you weaving between streams of bullets while annihilating waves of outer space crime-doers – but don’t feel bad, they haven’t called their moms in weeks.

Maximum Thunderness utilizes roguelite elements to ensure no two runs play out the same way. Score items as you survive each stage of S.K.U.L.L.-stomping fun, snagging upgrades to your skillset or even the option to change it entirely. Combat is designed to be approachable by anyone regardless of shmup experience, while still offering the depth and challenge Earth’s sweatiest defenders crave.

Iphigames and Horrified Triangles Reveal Cinematic Trailer for Haunted Bloodlines

Athens, Greece | Iphigames, Serafini Productions and developer Horrified Triangles today revealed a brand-new Cinematic Trailer for their upcoming first-person psychological horror game, Haunted Bloodlines, as part of The Horror Game Awards.

The trailer offers a first look at new scenes from the full game and announces that Haunted Bloodlines will launch on Steam and PlayStation 5, pulling players deeper into the mansion that gives the game its name. A house that doesn't just hold horrors, but seems to live and breathe alongside those trapped inside it.

Haunted Bloodlines is a first-person survival and psychological horror experience that drops players into the eerie depths of an ever-shifting mansion. After the sudden death of your father, you inherit a sprawling estate hidden deep within a dark forest, only to begin questioning your sanity as you uncover disturbing truths about your family's legacy. Is your bloodline who you believe them to be? And can you face the truth without losing your mind?

The deeper you go, the less the house makes sense. Rooms rearrange themselves. Memories that aren't yours start to surface. And the further you dig into your family's past, the harder it becomes to tell what's real and what the mansion wants you to see.

With no way to defend yourself, your only options are to hide or run. Stay silent, stay hidden, and keep track of the mansion's shifting layout. Any wrong move could be your last. As tragedy plays out in front of you, visions twist and whispers grow louder, blurring the line between reality and nightmare. You'll solve puzzles by stepping into the past, and move between the living world and its haunted reflection, where each side holds both pieces of the truth and horrors you'd rather not face.

Inspired by P.T. and Silent Hill and mixed with Greek mythology, Haunted Bloodlines started life as a student project before growing into a full horror experience under Horrified Triangles, with a clearer identity and a long-term vision.

A free demo is available now on Steam.

Key Features

  • Escape: Hide or run to survive, and be careful not to misjudge HER presence.
  • Sanity: Endure tragic events as your mind begins to turn against you.
  • Time: Solve puzzles and change events by stepping into the past, with consequences that shape the horrors to come.
  • Realm-Switching: Move between the living world and its haunted reflection to reveal hidden paths, and awaken what lurks just out of sight.

To celebrate the demo’s launch, Acclaim, Inc. has released a new trailer, showcasing the over-the-top action, insane mutations, and cartoonish chaos that await players.

On crafting a game that revolves around the historically important themes of candy-crazed genetic mutations, piñata destruction, and giving birth to a man in a chicken suit, creator Rowan Edmondson summed it up as only he could:
“I worked hard on this nonsense,” said Edmondson.
Those craving mutations and mayhem won’t have to wait much longer to get their hands (or tentacles) on the game. Ground Zero Hero launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and Steam this summer.

Key Features:

  • UNLOCK an ever-growing list of powerful mutations and permanent upgrades
  • DISCOVER devastating combinations to craft your ultimate mutant
  • EXPLORE multiple wastelands, each with its own unique interactive elements
  • BATTLE to a dynamic soundtrack that changes with gameplay
  • SURVIVE the apocalypse by destroying piñata for that sweet, sweet candy
  • GIVE BIRTH to a man in a chicken suit

Head into the Mathematical Wildlands of Talystro Demo on Steam Right Now!

April 29, 2026 | Independent Norwegian studio Filiokus today launched the free public demo for Talystro. This roguelite deckbuilder challenges players to think differently about combat by turning mathematics into its core weapon. Talystro combines dice rolls, cards, and creative arithmetic, casting players as the unlikely Math Mouse standing against the evil Necrodicer and an army of corrupted numbers brought to life.

In Talystro, combat isn’t about slowly chipping away at enemy health. Instead, players must match the exact value of their enemies to defeat them instantly. Each card contains unfinished calculations, variables and modifiers, while dice rolls dynamically shape the possibilities available each turn. Success depends on understanding the order of operations, adapting to shifting probabilities and making strategic decisions as each encounter unfolds.

The demo drops players straight into the Wildlands, the first act of Talystro’s world, for a complete run of seven levels, culminating in a boss fight that puts everything learned to the test. Including two modes playing on Normal or Expert, a full run takes around 45 minutes, packed with decisions, dice rolls and the satisfying click of a perfectly matched calculation.

The studio’s signature hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation style has expanded throughout the experience, with new animations woven into the moment-to-moment flow of play. Music and full sound design are now part of the game, adding a layer of personality and charm that brings the world of Talystro to life in a way the closed build only hinted at.
“Talystro is built on our belief that mathematics is fundamentally creative,” said Martin Lothe Sæterdal of Filiokus. “With this demo, we’re inviting players to experiment, adapt, and discover the beauty of problem-solving through play. The best feedback we’ve received so far? ‘This is the most fun I have ever had doing math.’”

What’s in the Demo

  • A complete first act run through the Wildlands, across seven levels, including a boss fight
  • Around 45 minutes of play per run, with Normal and Expert modes available from the start
  • Dice and card combat where creativity and arithmetic are your only weapons
  • A growing collection of cards, upgrades and artifacts to discover across each run
  • New unlocks that carry over between runs, rewarding continued play
  • Hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animations and full music and sound design throughout
  • Accessible by design, no time pressure, no camera movement, built for thoughtful play

Availability

The Talystro free demo is available now on Steam for PC. The full game is in development with a release planned for later in 2026.

Download the demo and wishlist the full game at: store.steampowered.com/app/3524740/Talystro

About Filiokus

Filiokus is a Norwegian game studio on a mission to rethink what educational games can be. Viewing games as artistic systems driven by mathematics, the studio focuses on highlighting the creative, strategic, and expressive sides of math through interactive experiences. Talystro is the team’s second title, continuing their exploration of how probability, arithmetic, and play can come together to create something both meaningful and fun.

Mandated Fate by Indie Developer Tetrarchy Studios Launches Demo on Steam!

France, April 2026 | In a world where the truth is dangerous, and loyalty is mandatory, how far will you go to survive?

Indie developer Tetrarchy Studios has announced that Mandated Fate, an upcoming dystopian narrative thriller, will open playtesting ahead of its public demo launch in early May on Steam. To participate in the playtest, gamers can join the Official Discord server and request a Steam key, or request access via the Mandated Fate Steam page. Within the game itself, there will be an option to fill out a completely anonymous feedback form.

Blending investigation, political intrigue, and high-stakes decision making, Mandated Fate puts players in the role of an Imperial inspector navigating a towering technocratic regime where every action is monitored - and every choice has consequences.

A System Built on Control (and Merit Score)

Set in an alternate 1985, Mandated Fate drops players into a society obsessed with technological dominance and absolute unity. Tasked with investigating a mysterious murder in a resistant district, players quickly uncover a web of secrets, surveillance, and conflicting loyalties.

Through deep dialogue systems, environmental exploration, and faction manipulation, players must decide whether to uphold the regime, or quietly dismantle it from within.
  • Interrogate suspects and uncover hidden truths
  • Navigate a dense, vertical city with seamless exploration
  • Make morally complex decisions that shape multiple outcomes
  • Balance personal survival against political consequences

Wear the Mask. Keep your Soul.

Balance your Merit Score - the Empire’s cold, official metric of your worth - against your Loyalty, the hidden fire of your true convictions, in a world that never stops watching. Every word is a gamble: Navigate the rigid protocols of bureaucratic NPCs who only see your file. Earn the trust of desperate Dissidents or evade the gaze of zealous Loyalists who smell your true intent.

Will you become a model citizen to survive, or maintain a flawless public image while secretly feeding the flames of rebellion? In the Empire, the most dangerous weapon is the one they can’t see on your record.
Playtesters Wanted - Help Shape the Investigation

Ahead of its public demo, Mandated Fate is actively seeking players to help refine the experience.

The team is specifically looking for:
  • Steam Deck testers to evaluate performance and handheld playability
  • Controller users to refine input feel and accessibility
  • Narrative-driven RPG fans ready to stress test choices, dialogue, and outcomes

Player feedback will directly influence polish, balance, and overall immersion as the game moves toward release.

Step Into the System Before the World Does

With its blend of noir detective work, branching narrative, and oppressive dystopian atmosphere, Mandated Fate challenges players to operate inside a system where breaking the rules isn’t optional - it’s expected.

The public demo launches in Early May, but those who join the playtest will be the first to uncover its secrets and shape how the story unfolds.

About Mandated Fate

Mandated Fate explores a future where humanity’s grand technological dreams have collapsed into systems of control. Drawing inspiration from classic dystopian storytelling and noir science fiction, the game presents a bleak yet compelling world where gravity manipulation powers an authoritarian society. Built almost entirely by a solo developer, the project reflects a passion for sci-fi narratives in which humanity ultimately becomes crushed under the weight of its own ambitions.

If you’re interested in staying in the loop on all things Mandated Fate, you can join the Official Discord Server, where feedback and suggestions are always welcome!
