Shuto Con 2018: Getting to know Lauren Landa
The last of the guest panelists I had a chance to listen to was Lauren Landa, and she was a fantastic way to end the series. She was frank, funny and a lot of fun to listen to.
Shuto Con 2018: Getting to know R Bruce Elliott
Bruce stood out from the other panelists for multiple reasons. His bio on the Shuto Con 2018 guest page was hilarious and mostly fabricated 'facts' - but there were nuggets of truth in there too. Compared to some of his peers, who had gotten into voice acting at a relatively young age, Bruce actually had a relatively late entry into the world of anime by comparison. Another interesting aspect of Bruce's career was his extensive theater background, which was referenced several times as well.
Shuto Con 2018: Getting to know Jason Marsden
The second of our guest panels was hosted Jason Marsden, who has a pretty extensive list of works to his credit. While there are certainly some gaming ones in there to take note of, he was one of the few panelists to actually have notable performances in both television and the movies as well.

One of the more entertaining aspects of Shuto Con 2018 was the question and answer sessions with the different guest panelists. Chris Patton was the first one I attended, and he certainly got me off on the right foot with these sessions.

So what is Shuto Con? It is an annual anime, cosplay and gaming convention that adopted the tagline "It's All About U!" for attendees. With things kicking off Friday morning and running until the end of the afternoon on Sunday (3/23/18-3/25/18), there was a lot to see and do. But my primary takeaway? I had a really good time and can easily see myself attending again going forward.
