• NHL 27 - PS5 Review

...and I have been playing NHL games since. It didn't matter whether it was EA or another game like 2K in the 2000s; I loved hockey games and still do, but is NHL 27 a step in the right direction?

  • NBA 2K27 - PlayStation 5 Review

With these annual seasonal renewals of the sports season comes the related video games as well, and the question reviewers such as myself always face is this: Is this year’s game worth purchasing one year after the last one? My answer? Yes, absolutely. NBA fans are going to almost certainly enjoy NBA 2K27.

  • Midnight Moments - PC Steam Review

Midnight Moments is a cozy cyberpunk diorama-building game that is stunning. Unlike games that require you to complete quests or take out assailants or even solve challenging puzzles, this one only requires one thing: imagination.

  • Isle of Reveries - PC Review

Isle of Reveries is a top down 2D action adventure game that made my nostalgia for old school Zelda games flare up really hard. A good blending of puzzle, exploration, and combat, Isle of Reveries is a wonderful title to experience inside and out.

  • Outbound - PC Review

Let me tell you about this cozy game my daughter and I are playing together called Outbound. Now, I've been following this game from the initial Kickstarter back in April 2025 to its full release in May 2026. The best Mother's Day gift for myself and my first ever collector's edition in a physical copy!

  • Dread Delusion - Xbox Series X|S Review

Today we’re looking at what has rapidly become an absolute favorite in the open-world RPG genre for me. An interesting story, memorable NPCs, stunning visuals, and a setting absolutely dripping with flavor, Dread Delusion sets its tone immediately and sticks with it.

Check Out the Launch Trailer for the Twitch Integrated Experience in Silicon City

Annecy - France, June 15th, 2023 – Polycorne unveils the launch trailer for Silicon City, its new election feature for Silicon City, which will leave early access on 22 June (7 AM PST/ 4 PM CEST) and transforms the gaming experience into a City RPG on Twitch.

Silicon City is a fun citizen-centric city-building game with a retro-classic-flavor and modern tools.

Get Elected or Leave the City!

In addition to all the buildings, data views, unique citizen profiles and customisation options, Silicon City has a brand new election system.

You start out as the Mayor of Silicon City, and all the modern tools at your disposal allow you to build and customize the city of your dreams. However, the Silizens (Citizens of Silicon City) all have their own opinions on the matter, and your term of office is in danger of running out if you don't listen to them carefully.

Use your knowledge and the information provided by the municipal service on voter engagement and needs to run your election campaign. Get re-elected and continue to manage your urban planning projects, offering your fellow citizens a good life, or it's game over, Mr ex-mayor!

Silicon City as a City RPG

Twitch integration allows streamers to play with their viewers as citizens. These citizens appear in the game and can carry out a host of different actions, including looking for a job, using the Bakr social network, voting, and many other surprises.

Silicon City is thus transformed into a real Twitch RPG where, more than ever, every Silizen has a say, and where the streamer-mayor experience reaches its climax.

Check Out Silicon City New Customization Features and Twitch App!

Annecy - France, May 25, 2023 Studio Polycorne unveils customization features of Silicon City, due for release on PC on 22 June. Become a master planner (as well as a good mayor) and enjoy a wide range of data, and customizations available for the sandbox mode, but also interact on Twitch.

Silicon City is a fresh and innovative perspective on the classic city-building genre, where every citizen matters and has a say.

Be an urban engineer and a blueprint master

Use all the architectural tools at your disposal to shape your city to your taste. From the location of farms and residences to the optimization of the electrical system, commercial areas, cultural areas, and other public service buildings to optimize locations and make life easier for your citizens.

Study the value of your land, the occupancy and employment rates in your neighborhoods, optimize your power grid, and listen to the needs of your citizens (up-skilling, need for culture, health, happiness).

Create a unique and artistic city of your own

The zone buildings in Silicon City are procedurally generated, allowing you to have a variety of houses, farms, and offices in your city. These buildings are originally shaped and painted according to the influence of their neighborhood and the value of the land, but you can remodel or repaint them as you wish.

Use your creativity and design a 'historic' area and/or create iconic and colorful areas of your city like Notting Hill (London), Castro (San Francisco), or Altstadt (Cologne).

The customization options in Silicon City start with buildings and go up to citizens, the interactivity of streamers with their audience, and even complete scenarios.

Twitch app - or how to amplify customization and fun

The streamer (and mayor) can invite his subscribers into the game as citizens.
The latter will have many possibilities to act and interact in the game such as using the social network of the game Bakr and interacting with the streamer in-game, finding a job, walking around, rebuilding their house, and among other possibilities, voting in the municipal election.

Silicon City Releasing On Steam June 22!

Annecy - France, April 26, 2023
– The studio Polycorne announces the release of Silicon City for June 22nd, 2023. Available in early access since October 2021, Silicon City is a fresh and innovative perspective on the classic city-building genre, where every citizen matters and has a say.
As the mayor of a new city, you are in charge of its overall development and you can rely on modern tools to make it pleasant for your citizens and get re-elected.

The Importance of Silizens

In Silicon City, the citizens are called Silizens, and they are all unique and each of them has their own needs, feelings, opinions, and votes. Observe their daily behavior, study their personal profiles, and interact with them via Bakr, Silicon City's Twitter-like social network.

The Silizens will not hesitate to share their needs, contentment, and resentment with your urban development policy. The attractiveness of your city and the well-being of your citizens are the keys to your re-election, while not listening to your Silizens will generate protests and may cost you your job.

Buildings and Procedural Generation

Over 50 building types are available in Silicon City. Whether built by the player or by citizens, the houses, stores, offices, and utility buildings where your citizens can live and work are procedurally generated, offering unique creativity to the look of your neighborhoods and your city.

Modern Views of the Data

Silicon City offers several styles of camera views as a tribute to the classic city-builder genre of the 80s and 90s. However, as a modern mayor, you have access to modern visualization tools that are very useful to develop your city and make your citizens happy.

You can analyze land values, optimize your electrical network, develop your neighborhoods following their residential and professional occupancy rates, plan traffic flows, and many other major actions to be taken thanks to the availability of this data. Access to these many layers of data allows the player to become a great urbanist by linking the macro and micro-management of the city.
