Unepic is what can aptly be called a “ye olde 2D dungeon crawler”. Young Daniel and his friends are sitting around playing what I assume is Dungeons and Dragons. Suddenly he has to piss, and while in the bathroom someone turns off the light, and all of a sudden he finds himself in a dimly lit castle full of traps and monsters.

Blues and Bullets - Episode 2: Shaking The Hive - Xbox One Review
April 27, 2016A Crowd of Monsters, Blues and Bullets - Episode 2: Shaking The Hive, CGRreview, Microsoft Xbox One, review, Xbox One
It has been a long wait - a very long wait. Admittedly, one of my concerns about episodically released games has always been the 'what if?' when too much time passes between episodes. Blues and Bullets nearly tests that theory with an eight month hiatus since Episode 1 released. Thankfully, for those who enjoyed the format of the initial chapter, they will find a lot to like here as Blues and Bullets - Episode 2: Shaking The Hive strikes many of the same notes.
Blues and Bullets - Episode 1: The End of Peace - Xbox One Review
September 14, 2015A Crowd of Monsters, Blues and Bullets - Episode 1: The End of Peace, Microsoft Xbox One, review, Xbox One
Blues and Bullets has an immediately familiar feel to how it plays, despite a unique visual impression that helps it to stand apart from other games. More importantly, it sets the stage for what promises to be an interesting investigation. Episodic games need a successful first episode to keep people hooked and coming back for more. Mission accomplished.
Funk of Titans - PC Review
Having grown up with platformers, one thing above all else has always stood out to me. Mechanics. If you give me solid and responsive mechanics then it’s a fair bet that I’m going to enjoy myself even if the story can feel lacking. Funk of the Titans? I enjoyed the mechanics as well as playing that funky music.
A trailer for A Crowd of Monsters
Everything about this looks great. The visual style, the storytelling - I am really curious to see how this one develops.
Funk of Titans - Xbox One Review
Funk of Titans is the small development studio A Crowd of Monsters first foray into the console market. Releasing on the Xbox One on January 9, 2015, Funk of Titans puts you in the shoes of the Greek demigod Perseus as he battles his way through 40+ levels to defeat the Titans who are bent on destroying the Gods, Demigods, and the world as a whole. As Perseus you will navigate through funk-filled platforming levels in an attempt to ultimately save the world. Prior to Funk of Titans release, A Crowd of Monsters had released the ambitious mobile title, Sugar Kid, but how does their first attempt at a console game hold up to other well-established studios and their platforming titles? Read on for more information.
