Bliss Brain Reveals Launch Trailer for 70's Style Robot Anime Geppy-X

TOKYO, Japan — July 16, 2026 | Bliss Brain is pleased today to unveil the official Launch Trailer for 70s-style Robot Anime Geppy-X, worldwide release on July 16, 2026.

While previous trailers introduced the opening chapters of the adventure, the Launch Trailer shifts its focus to one of the game's biggest surprises: Geppy-XX, the upgraded main robot that takes center stage during the second half of the story.

A Game That Changes Like a Classic Super Robot Anime

In 70s-style Robot Anime Geppy-X, the story reaches a turning point midway through the adventure as the heroes receive their upgraded machine, Geppy-XX.

But the transformation doesn't stop there.

Just like a classic super robot anime entering its second half, the in-game television opening is completely replaced. The opening title changes from Geppy-X to Geppy-XX, and the opening theme continues with the song's second verse, creating the feeling that viewers are watching the next chapter of an actual TV series.

The Launch Trailer showcases this upgraded opening sequence for the first time.

Featuring the New Heroine of the Geppy-XX Story

The Launch Trailer also introduces a new heroine who joins the cast during the Geppy-XX chapter of the game.

As the story enters its second half, a new female pilot becomes part of the team, bringing fresh character dynamics and a new perspective to the adventure.

The trailer features several scenes highlighting her role alongside the upgraded Geppy-XX, offering fans a first look at this exciting new chapter of the story.

Fully Restored HD Anime Movies

The animated sequences in 70s-style Robot Anime Geppy-X have been restored from the original Betacam master tapes and remastered in HD.

Players can switch freely between the newly remastered movies and the original PlayStation versions at any time, allowing both longtime fans and newcomers to enjoy the experience in their preferred style.

About 70s-style Robot Anime Geppy-X

Critically Acclaimed Co-Op Shooter Headed to PC and Consoles

Rotterdam, The Netherlands (June 6, 2026) | Vertigo Games today announced that Arizona Sunshine®, the critically acclaimed, smash-hit VR series that defined zombie-slaying for millions, is coming to PC and consoles later this year, finally bringing its brutal, sun-baked co-op action to your big screen.

Built on the foundation of the series’ signature brutal gameplay and the frantic but surprisingly touching story of Arizona Sunshine VR 2, Arizona Sunshine brings brand-new ways to survive the heart-pounding, limb-severing and dark-humored apocalypse. The game features narrative-driven solo play and chaotic co-op where every encounter can spiral out of control, all in an accessible third-person perspective on PC and consoles.

Welcome to the sun-kissed, zombie state of Arizona

It’s hot, it’s bloody and frankly, you smell terrible. Meet Sunny, a dark-humored survivor who has spent way too much time alone in the desert talking to the undead he calls “Fred." Together with his fiercely loyal, zombie-chomping dog Buddy, he sets out on a sun-drenched, gore-splattered road trip across Arizona. It’s a witty, frantic story about survival, loneliness, and the bond between a man and his dog.

Couch co-op is here, baby!

Sure, surviving alone is fine, but why not share the trauma? Grab a friend, a pizza and a controller for chaotic split-screen co-op, or jump into a two-player zombie-slaying sesh online. Blast through massive hordes using fan-favorite weapons, from shotguns and machetes to flamethrowers and more. Firefights break down fast, split-second saves become routine and nothing ever goes according to plan.

Man’s best friend. Fred’s worst nightmare.

Say hello to Buddy, your new four-legged partner in crime, now fully playable in co-op, opening up a whole new way to experience co-op chaos in the apocalypse. Not only is he the goodest boy who loves belly rubs, he’s also a furry missile capable of sniffing out secrets and tearing Freds limb from limb.

Did we mention the dog? We really like the dog.

Fresh perspectives (literally)

For the first time ever, experience the blistering heat of the apocalypse in an accessible third-person perspective on your big screen. Watch your handsome self dodge, weave and blow off zombie heads with cinematic flair.

So sharpen your machete, reload your shotgun and bring your friends: Arizona Sunshine is coming to PC and consoles later this year. Wishlist now on PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store, on Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store, and on PC via Steam or the Epic Games Store. Wishlists for Nintendo Switch will be available at a later date. The Freds are waiting…

Narrative Puzzle Game 'Shape Sender Deluxe' Headed to PC and Switch in the Fall!

Montpellier, France (June 6, 2026) | Kiwi studio Dead Teapot Games and French publisher Dear Villagers (The Forgotten City) have fully revealed their next game, Shape Sender Deluxe, during the Frosty Games Fest with a new trailer. The upcoming puzzle narrative game is set to release in Fall 2026, on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and Nintendo Switch™.

Shape Sender Deluxe is a narrative puzzle game personified through its mascot and “creator,” Sendy. Sendy will talk directly to players and invite them to complete physics-based puzzles, and even create their own levels, all while commenting on their attempts and creativity when it comes to progressing through the 90 levels of the game.
“Shape Sender Deluxe encourages creativity in every level - wild, elegant, or stupid-but-it-works are all valid solutions, and it's up to the players to decide what they want to bring to the game. I'm super excited to see what the players do," said Tana Tanoi, game director at Dead Teapot.
Thanks to a set of tools and their own craftiness, players will complete levels by sending shapes from one pipe to another. As they progress through the game, Sendy’s attitude towards them will develop in several quirky ways, leading to all kinds of off-the-wall situations with increasing challenge, new shapes, tools and obstacles to compose with.

On top of their adventure with Sendy, players will be able to create their own levels in the Level Editor mode to share with friends or simply create GIFs of the solutions they come up with.

The already available demo on Steam, featuring dedicated levels and dialogue, has been updated to now include a brand-new Level Editor mode, allowing players to create their own levels with a limited set of tools.

Shape Sender Deluxe is a narrative puzzle game set to release in Fall 2026 on PC and Nintendo Switch. For more information, visit the official website at https://deadteapot.games/.

Nightdive Studios Announces Thief: The Dark Project Remastered for Winter Release!

Vancouver, WA (June 7, 2026) | Nightdive Studios, Eidos-Montréal and Atari today announced Thief: The Dark Project Remastered, a modern revival of the groundbreaking 1998 classic from Looking Glass Studios that helped define the stealth genre. Remastered with Nightdive’s KEX Engine, the release includes Thief: The Dark Project and the additional missions, content and updates from the 1999 Thief Gold re-release. Coming this Winter, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Play Anywhere, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG, in addition to PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

Considered an early foundation of “pure stealth” gameplay, Thief stood out in an era dominated by combat-heavy first-person games. Instead of open confrontation, it rewards a slower, more deliberate approach – using light and sound to stay hidden or misdirect enemies, and when required, ferocious moments of violence that stay hidden in the shadows. Described by its developers as a “first-person sneaker,” the title is widely regarded as the pioneering 3D stealth experience or “immersive sim.”
“Thief didn’t just introduce stealth mechanics, it defined them,” said Stephen Kick, CEO at Nightdive Studios. “With this remaster, we’ve preserved the tension and intelligence of the original while enhancing it for modern players, ensuring that its legacy continues to influence how stealth games are played today."
Thief notably emphasizes player agency over scripted scenarios, giving players the freedom to navigate the world and tackle challenges in their own way, using the tools available to them to stay hidden. The NPCs in Thief are also responsive to the environment: instead of following routines, they interact with visual and auditory cues, react and investigate, and communicate with each other.
“Few games have had an impact as enduring as Thief,” said Patrice Baig, General Manager at Eidos-Montréal. “It set a standard for immersion and atmospheric storytelling that still resonates today. This remaster ensures a new generation can experience what made it so influential, and we’re proud to see it treated with such care.”
In Thief: The Dark Project Remastered, players once again step into the boots of Garrett, an orphan rescued from the streets by the Keepers – a secretive, ancient order dedicated to maintaining balance in the world – and trained to become a Master Thief. Now an adult, the rebellious Garrett has left the order and now moves through a world of corruption and conspiracy, stealing from the wealthy for personal gain. Despite his cynical outlook and dark wit, as he uncovers hidden agendas among those grasping for power his instinct is to act for the greater good.

Innovative gameplay features include:

  • Advanced NPC AI: A dynamic visibility system and sound simulation allows both players and enemies to detect movement realistically; NPCs will dynamically adapt to sounds the player makes,  investigate, and even raising alarms
  • Keep to the Shadows: Experience one of the first games to use light and sound as core gameplay mechanics; use fire arrows to extinguish torches and moss arrows to dampen loud surfaces
  • Stealth-Based Combat: Strike unseen from the shadows using Garrett’s blackjack to incapacitate enemies from behind or specialized gas mines and arrows to take them down from range
  • Misdirection: Flashbombs will temporarily blind and disorient enemies and Noisemaker arrows will distract and draw away guards.
  • Tools of a Master Thief: amass a full array of specialized tools including lockpicks, remote cameras, and even rope arrows to access out-of-reach locations

Thief: The Dark Project Remastered modernizes the original experience with material quality of life enhancements. As part of the remastering effort the artists at Nightdive have carefully updated and improved the graphic textures and models, as well as the cut scenes and animations. The team also updated the UI, adding a weapon and item wheel, and mission selector. Support was also added on PC for custom campaigns so that players can experience the many missions and campaigns created over the years by fans.

From its use of light and shadow to its emphasis on player vulnerability and non-lethal playstyles, Thief: The Dark Project helped shape decades of stealth-focused design. Its influence can be seen across the genre, inspiring immersive, system-driven gameplay. The game was recognized at the 3rd Annual Interactive Achievement Awards (2000) with a win for “Outstanding Achievement in Character or Story Development.” With Thief: The Dark Project Remastered, players can revisit – or experience for the first time – the title that made stealth not just a mechanic, but a philosophy.

Thief: The Dark Project Remastered will launch this Winter on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Play Anywhere, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG, in addition to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch owners can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for free.

  • Two-Player Co-op: With danger lurking around every street corner, wouldn't you be better off with a friend?

A delightful tale from the Shadow Realm

A realm of demons, Adribune.

The Overlord who once ruled this world has suddenly vanished. The three nations and the ruling state, four countries in total, seize the chance to start fighting among themselves. In the growing chaos, the Radiant Realm sends its heroes to take control of the Shadow Realm.
Amid the turmoil, a lone demon named Kaine washes ashore on a remote island nation. Kaine has lost all memories and remembers only his name and the need to search for fragments of his past.
Iroha, who has been caring for Kaine, witnesses the immense power hidden within him. Hoping to save her country from the heroes' advance, she begs Kaine to lend his strength.

Learn magic through orbs

Some of the orbs Kaine and his allies can equip contain built-in skills. As these orbs grow in battle, their skills become stronger and may even unlock new ones. Keep training them and unleash powerful strikes.

Unleash decisive POW skills

Battles unfold in a side-view command format. Along with orb skills, each character has unique POW skills. Build up the gauge and strike at the perfect moment.

Charming companions

Your journey includes an adorable (perhaps) mascot and three captivating princesses. Fulfill their requests along the way to grow closer, and you might find special memories awaiting you. What will become of Kaine? What choices will he make?

Volontes - Nintendo Switch Review

Volontes by developer and publisher LocaGamesNintendo Switch review written by Natasha with a copy provided by the publisher.

Estimated reading time: 5 minutes

Long long ago, high in the clouds, there existed a kingdom where no one ever seemed to get sick. The sun always shined and people lived surrounded by magic. They had the freedom to create and explore the many facets that this kingdom had to offer, without fear.

However... there was one thing they could never do...

They could never save their progress---!!!!!!

*Wakes up in a cool sweat, clutching my Switch*

“Oh, thank heavens! It was all a dream.” I tell myself as I gently cradle my console. “I thought I was reliving my 3DS days. I'll never forgot the time where you couldn't save before a decision. So many handsome lives could've been saved with such a simple solution. So so many...”

~

From Farmer to Mage

Have you ever grown up feeling like you don't belong? For our Heroine, that's the feeling she lives with everyday in her small farming village. But it's not her only secret: she can see the dead, or silhouettes of those who once walked the earth. She has kept this secret even from her family, but her brothers and sisters adore her and the village people have shown her great kindness. Why scare anyone with something as silly as seeing the dead? Everything seems to be going great, until the knights of the kingdom run through your home, bringing the Shadowblight (a plague) with them. Killing everyone in the village, they continue to scream one thing “Find her!” Not wanting to get caught our heroine runs into the forest.

After nearly escaping death, our heroine finds herself being rescued by a mysterious man who came from a floating kingdom in the sky. Dazed and confused, she finds herself being healed by sorcerers who have started to claim her as the legendary Moon Witch. How does one wake up with magic running through their veins, without ever knowing...until now.

Now sporting her new life and status, it's up to her to prophesize the future of everyone around her. Will she be able to educate herself quickly or fall victim to a possible scheme?

A Magical Distillery of Men

A Mysterious Kingdom in the clouds must have some breathtaking bachelors in this newfound land. What's that? The Moon Witch is not allowed to love? Even with these tall glasses of MMmmmMmm? Superstitious traditions will not stop me! Bring on the LIs (Love Interests):

Oliver Paquet (VA: Kazuyuki Okitsu {Olympia Soiree, Piofiore, Jack Jeanne})

  • Fate Handler

  • Conniving Bastard

The mage who saved you from death. This long dark haired magician may seem like a hero, but he also seems to be hiding a lot of secrets. Perhaps he'll soften up with your daring personality? Besides, what could be more daring than spending time with someone you are forbidden to love?

Ismail (VA: Souma Yamato {First Otome Roll})

  • Doctor, Please! Kiss it Better?

  • Chick Magne

The practitioner to the royal family itself, this soft-spoken dark skinned dreamboat may just take you out for a lovely stroll around the kingdom. Since you are an outsider with the ability to see into the possible future, nothing screams “You can look, but don't touch” more than you. As a healer he has many patients, but it's not everyday he gets to study a Witch up close. You might be TOO tempting.

Emmanuel de Beaumont (VA: Yuichiro Umehara {Birushana, Jack Jeanne, Radiant Tale})

  • Alpha Vibes Galore

  • Loyal to a Fault

A noble man, with no magical properties, he makes up for his lack of magic by dedicating his time to domestic affairs within the kingdom. However he does not believe you are who people say you are. Trust is earned, not given and he wastes no time in making sure you know he's all business. A soft approach may not be the best tactic. Maybe he likes someone who can give him a challenge? Don't be afraid to stand your ground!

Melodie (VA: Tatsuhisa Suzuki {Uta no Prince, Diabolok Lovers, Lover Pretend})

  • Plays with your Heart Strings

  • a 'Sharp' Tongue... get it?

The palace bard, this minstrel also doubles as a knight. Hard to get along with he keeps everyone at a distance, yet his music alone draws you in. If he plays such beautiful pieces, maybe there is something beautiful inside? Considering you are the inspiration for the kingdoms current tale, you are the centre of most of his musical numbers. If that doesn't scream ROMANCE then what does?

Feels Like a Classic

Funny enough, the feeling I get when I play Volontes reminds me of my days playing Hakuoki and Even if Tempest. The deep story telling, the simple backgrounds and soundtrack, and very little notification on whether or not you're romancing your LI. This makes the game more challenging for those who don't like to feel like the game is holding your hands and saying “Go this way, it's much more rewarding!”

Speaking of similarities to other games, the soundtrack strangely reminded me of a Fire Emblem game. Not sure if it's just me, but I get strong medieval kingdom vibes. Volontes also puts the pressure on since one wrong move will give you a game over. Being a very squishy heroine means you get killed easily, so saving multiple times is highly recommended.

In a Kingdom Far Far Away in the Sky

To conclude, Volontes is an Otome game that sticks to old play styles and gives the player a rich and vibrant story about kingdoms, magic, witches and forbidden romance. Volontes makes sure to keep you on your toes in choosing the right decision or else you may be greeted by death's sweet embrace. Preferably I'd like a man, but to each their own. The headmistress of the college of magic would like to grade you on your performance. A solid 7.5 out of 10. Study harder and you may reach top scores one day. Maybe being a Witch isn't so bad after all.

~

“Alright, seems like the story is about to take a turn for the worse. Better make sure I save---”

[Error] Cartridge is not sitting properly in the system. Please, reconnect.

[Error] Progress lost.

“No...”

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Score: 7.5 / 10
