An interesting new iOS strategy game releases

Recently our friends over at Digitally Downloaded had an excellent two part interview with Dawn Patrol Games (you can see parts one and two by following those links). Here is the information about their new strategy title for mobile, Nitropia.

Independent video game developer Dawn Patrol Games has partnered with popular mobile publisher Bulkypix, to bring a fresh take on strategy games with Nitropia: War Commanders.

“In Nitropia, we want to layer in real time strategy elements and introduce new game play mechanics to a well established genre. In addition, we took care developing the characters and story and hope the narrative plot twists add a fresh element to the experience.”

There are 21 levels, 12 unique hero combinations to choose from, 12 varying tower options and at least one new challenge or enemy added each level.

Nitropia: War Commanders is free to download, with the first 3 levels free to play and the full game unlockable at USD $1.99.
