Culdcept the First (also attributed as Culdcept the First Saturn Tribute) is a very fun game, that does show its age. This is basically a re-issue of the 1997 Sega Saturn game that mashes together deckbuilding (think Magic: The Gathering) and boardgames (such as Monopoly).
With these annual seasonal renewals of the sports season comes the related video games as well, and the question reviewers such as myself always face is this: Is this year’s game worth purchasing one year after the last one? My answer? Yes, absolutely. NBA fans are going to almost certainly enjoy NBA 2K27.
Midnight Moments is a cozy cyberpunk diorama-building game that is stunning. Unlike games that require you to complete quests or take out assailants or even solve challenging puzzles, this one only requires one thing: imagination.
Isle of Reveries is a top down 2D action adventure game that made my nostalgia for old school Zelda games flare up really hard. A good blending of puzzle, exploration, and combat, Isle of Reveries is a wonderful title to experience inside and out.

Atlus have always been good to gamers. Now while they may not have had a hand in development, Atlus are publishing the Legend of Legacy for us in North America and to give us a bit of a treat they’ve recently released a demo for players to try out before its release. Containing the Prologue and the first two areas, this is a small taste of what to expect in this older school RPG designed by former Square and Level-5 employees!
Knock Knock is one of those games you are rooting for almost right away. The graphic style is unique, the idea has potential and I am always up for a horror game this time of the year. Unfortunately Knock Knock falls short in some basic categories and it wound up souring me on an experience I had held out higher hopes for.
A few months ago I watched “Escobar: Paradise Lost”, which was related to drug trafficking, with Benicio Del Toro. That movie lacked focus and I forgot it quickly. “Sicario” has to do with drugs and Del Toro is starring again. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it either.
Admittedly, I was someone who felt let down by the original Blood Bowl when it came out. I thought its mix of dark humor, fantasy elements and football would really resonate with me, but for a variety of reasons that game fell flat for me. I have been guardedly optimistic that the team at Cyanide Studios would right the ship and make Blood Bowl 2 a more compelling experience. Thankfully my faith was rewarded.
Combat is turn-based, yet speedy. Those things do not normally go together, but then Skyshine's BEDLAM is not your typical game, both for better and for worse. It is an incredibly difficult game that can be both rewarding and frustrating in equal measures and a memorable experience - though sometimes for the wrong reasons.

Ant-Man is one of the least known Marvel super heroes. He is a normal human, with no special weapons, and all he can do is become small like an ant or control ants. A guy with a hammer that makes mountains tremble or a metal suit that flies and destroys tanks is certainly cooler. Nevertheless, minuscule Ant-Man proves more than capable to face the Marvel giants.
Every new Warriors game regardless of the sub-genre has always been something to look forward to on release. Going about a different route for the first time however, Samurai Warriors 4-II isn’t a new entry per say into the series but nor is it a re-hash of Samurai Warriors 4 with simply more added content. Experience for the first time a Samurai Warriors entry that is all about the characters instead of the wars and the battles that they historically took part in alongside the well-designed fast-paced Hack and Slash action that we’ve come to expect from Omega Force and Koei Tecmo Games.
There was a lot of talk that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 would get the series back to basics and install a sense of nostalgia in longtime fans of the series. This holds partially true, but anyone hoping that the series has evolved in any considerable way are likely to come away disappointed.
The difference between an Early Access build and that of a full release can sometimes be astronomical. Now freed from the realm of Early Access, Onikira: Demon Killer puts players in the role of a Samurai raised by a Feudal Lord as his own son. Done so at the request of a dying man that gave his life for his lord on a mission that he never returned from, the lord kept his promise while also teaching our hero the ways of the Samurai. Growing up to become a force to be reckoned with is going to come in handy while running through this mythological Ancient Japan through the form of a fast paced 2D action side-scroller.

Death in Darksiders 2 took a different approach to the Appocalypse than his brother War in the original Darksiders. Being less like a mature Zelda and using a bit more of an exploratory method with some MMO elements, Death explored the now wasted realm of Earth in order to clear his brother's name. Being given an upgraded treatement, Darksiders 2 now supports an upgraded engine, all DLC, and plenty of reworking to better balance the gameplay. Now here's hoping that Darksiders 3 and 4 can possibly make their way into our hands through Nordic...

Back for more, Beyond Earth is receiving its first expansion which hosts a slew of new gameplay elements to re-keep you occupied for days on end. Just rememeber to take a break every day or so as once within its grap, time feels like it stands still and nothing else matters but one more turn.

The Legend of Legacy is a throwback RPG to an older time where handholding didn't exist and if you wanted to know what was happening? You had to figure it out for yourself.
Using a system similar to that of Final Fanasy 2 (the actual FF2) as well as some of the Saga Games, Explore the Island of Avalon as one of seven characters available in this non traditional JRPG. Created by Furyu with former Sqaure and Level-5 members, Legend of Legacy is anything but easy and is a treat for fans of the more hardcore exploration RPGs.
A demo is currently available on the Nintendo eShop and it contains the prologue and the first two chapters with save data transferable to the full release.

Sorry I had to get that out of my system! Dragon Ball is making an appearance this month on the Nintendo 3DS. GO back into a 2D fighting style in order to deal both powered up attack and experience some Super Saiyen action that we have all at one point yelled until our voices gave out to no avail. Guess we are only human after all!

As mentioned earlier with Rock Band, Guitar Hero is also making its comeback.
Unlike Rock Band however, it seems like Guitar Hero is making itself more accessible to the previous generation of consoles as well as the newer ones. Available for the PS3/4, Xbox 360/One, and the WiiU, players will be able to once again pick up their guitar to jam to a variety of tracks on a newly designed guitar controller.

Not being a parent, and thus not having younger children, this is something that I've not really heard of. But compared to everything else on the list, it looks like Monster High is a game for the younger audience and in such they've made it more accessible being on both the current and the past generation of consoles.
