Do you remember that time you were playing Dungeons & Dragons and you worked your way deep into the cavern in search of loot, fame and fortune? Do you recall that same adventure where you kicked open the door to a new level only to be... confronted by an undead pony who was quickly assisted by an evil lawyer? I bet you handled the situation by donning your your Boots of Butt-Kicking or the Mace of Sharpness, right? If the answer is 'yes', you are probably thinking of Munchkin Deluxe and not Dungeons & Dragons, which is just fine because Munchkin pokes plenty of fun at fantasy standards while injecting its sense of humor into a surprisingly deep board game.
Dying Light - PS4 Review
Zombies have become fodder, motive, or set dressing for a variety of genres in games today. There is the player interaction experience of DayZ orH1Z1, the brutal combat bloodbaths of Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty Zombies, and the story and character driven Walking Dead, and the suspenseful survival in Resident Evil. Many releases find themselves pigeonholed into one type of experience, directed by the story the designers want to tell. When a game comes along set in an open world but putting the impetus on characters and their interactions, it is a strangely refreshing experience. Dying Light is Techland’s second game looking to achieve that balance, and unrelated follow up to their Dead Island release a few years back. Does a fresh start in a similar setting allow Dying Light to realize its potential, or is it infected with shortcomings?

Artificium - Tabletop and Board Games Review
Artificium is a card game built around developing resources and using them to advance your token across the leaderboard towards victory. The premise is surprisingly simple and the game is geared for two to six players as they try to turn wheat and wood into resources such as beer and food. These in turn can lead to even more expensive resources as you do your best to grow your own resources while hindering the growth of your opponents.

The realtime strategy genre was once a booming group of games, giving us juggernaut titles like Warcraft II, Command & Conquer Red Alert 3, Age Of Empires 2: Age of Kings, Homeworld and less known RTS goodies like Dark Reign, Tzar: The Burden of the Crown, and Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War. Since the release of StarCraft in the late 90's though, the genre began to dwindle with few big releases outside of those massively popular titles. Blizzard Entertainment has effectively owned the RTS genre these last ten years and other developers seemed to have abandoned realtime strategy as a whole.

Computer Roleplaying Games, or commonly referred to as CRPG, have been around for longer than most gamers know. The first true "CRPG" game was in 1975 for the PLATO platform and was called 'dnd,' which is the common abbreviation of Dungeons & Dragons. 'dnd' was a text-based adventure that was based on the tabletop roleplaying game (which had been released the year prior) and since then the CRPG genre has change drastically. What originally started as a text-based roleplaying game to an isometric roleplaying game in the vein of titles like D&D: Champions of Krynn, Ultima, and Baldur's Gate (to name a few).

Double Damage Games is a small studio that was founded in 2014 and Rebel Galaxy is their first project. However, it looks like the scape is pretty ambitious and the title will be playable later this year at PAX South.

While Nintendo has often proven somewhat behind the times in terms of how they handled their online stores, Club Nintendo started off strong as a popular offering that the company offered to reward their fans. Over time the service received mixed reviews from fans (especially since the Japanese version of the service usually had better rewards than the North American version did), I personally looked forward to it each month and provided value to those who followed it.

Age of War comes in a pretty inconspicuous package. Leveraged against games with really pretty artwork like Abyss or lots of pieces like Risk: Mass Effect, Age of War is much more modest in its first impression. Big things can indeed come in small packages however, and Age of War both promises and delivers a surprisingly deep strategy experience.
