The Blue Reflection series by Gust is a high school slice of life with apocalyptic level situations and magical girls. With the world on the brink of destruction, it'll be up to a select few to tackle those that wish to destroy it, all while managing the emotions of their friends, fellow students, and themselves…

  • Gobliiins Collection - Switch Review

In the early 90s, Coktel Vision (which later became Sierra On-Line) released a quirky point and click adventure game titled Gobliiins which had players bouncing between three different Goblins to find a cure for good King Angoulafre.

  • Dread Delusion - Xbox Series X|S Review

Today we’re looking at what has rapidly become an absolute favorite in the open-world RPG genre for me. An interesting story, memorable NPCs, stunning visuals, and a setting absolutely dripping with flavor, Dread Delusion sets its tone immediately and sticks with it.

  • House Flipper Remastered Collection - PC Review

I enjoy simulation-type games, and I enjoyed the original release of House Flipper, but I never got around to getting the DLC. When the remastered version of the game was released, I figured it would be the best way to experience the DLC while checking out how the base game was upgraded.

  • 70s-Style Robot Anime Geppy-X - PS5 Review

70s-Style Robot Anime Geppy-X is a mouthful of a title, but you know what? It’s quite the challenging game to describe as well. At its core, 70s-Style Robot Anime Geppy-X is a shooter...

  • Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 1+2 Dual Collection - PS5 Review

Are you ready for the package deal for the Azure Striker spin-offs before the third title in the spinoff series drops? Do you love the Megaman X games but want something fresh and musical? Do you wanna feel totally inadequate when you get a crappy score rating after beating what you thought was a tough fight?

Pro Pinball Ultra - PC Preview

I have a great affection for pinball in general, and I am one of those people who likes to get his mitts on almost any new pinball video game release because of this. Digital pinball will always be just a little lacking, because it fails to be quite as tactile an experience as the real thing, but it is a great way to allow people to experience great pinball tables without having to figure out how to find, purchase and place multiple tables in your house.

The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries - dates, screens and more

As a big fan of the Walking Dead games by Telltale, I have to say that I have been looking forward to any new information on the series. This upcoming miniseries might not completely scratch that itch, but it is a good start.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens announced

I'm a sucker for all things Star Wars, and generally speaking - I've been a big fan of the LEGO titles too over the years. In fact, it was the LEGO Star Wars games where I first dove into their zany blend of action and adventure.

Devil Kings - Retro Reflections

Devil Kings is a hack and slash game where you select a warrior and fight entire armies with melee weapons. There are also some soldiers who follow you but they are useless, so, basically you are on your own.

Space Moth DX - PC Review

Usually, when someone hands over a game to you describing it to be balls hard and recommended for the more masochistic player, the normal reaction is to sprint in the opposite direction. Since I've gained a level of immunity towards them over the years by constantly playing difficult and unfair titles - Dark Souls II, Flappy Bird, Duet, DoDonPachi - I tend to naturally accept games of this nature on a whim... even though I know fully I'll be snatching the hair out of my head in utter frustration while Phil Collins' "I Don't Care Anymore" plays on a loop in the background.

Can You Face the Burning Wrath of Dragons in 7th Dragon III Code: VFD?

There has been no shortage of fun RPGs coming out for the 3DS since it came along - and while I have not heard of this game before now, I have to say it looks quite promising.

Megadimension Neptunia VII - PS4 Review

To its credit, Megadimension Neptunia VII is the best game in the series to date. It benefits from the hardware boost from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4, with a better framerate that takes advantage of its fun, colorful graphics. More importantly, it takes some chances with its story and narrative structure, and these risks pay off leaving me to wish just a few more innovations had been drummed up along the way.

Spellweaver - PC Review

Spellweaver immediately feels familiar, blending elements found in the popular games Magic: The Gathering and Hearthsone. This familiarity makes it relatively easy to delve into while walking the fine line of having 'been there and done that' before. Thankfully the pay model (because this is a free-to-play game) is not thrown into your face as egregiously as many similar titles and the strategy is deep enough that it kept me coming back for more.

The awarded horror game Kholat to be released on PS4 on March 8th this year

There was a lot of news leading up to the release of Kholat on PC and I was generally a fan of the title when I had a chance to review it. Now the title is making its way to the PS4, exposing it to an even larger audience.

The Boy - Movie Review

The Boy is one of those movies I didn’t know they exist until I checked the week’s new films. I like thrillers and when I saw Lauren Cohan on IMDb I thought I should watch it.

Hard West - PC Review

The Wild West setting that has been used to over-saturated effect has never found a stable audience with me. I will only watch a Western flick if either A) it has some value of importance within the cinema industry or B) it has a few of my favorite actors / actresses. I guess I've become too jaded by the gritty, hard-edge and survivalist nature of Westerns to give a damn anymore.
