We are CGR are big fans of Xara's products. Just take a look at any of our gazillion reviews around the website (fine, there are just three) - and they've all been very enthusiastic and positive. Last year I had the opportunity to review Xara Photo and Graphic Designer 11 which satisfied my early logo designing needs. Though I had been quite adept with Adobe Illustrator by that point, the WYSIWYG nature and low pressure on my GPU, it was only natural I veered toward Xara to act as the stepping stone when I first started my professional logo design career.

Minecraft: Story Mode - Episode 6: A Portal to Mystery - Xbox One Review
June 23, 2016CGRreview, Microsoft Xbox One, Minecraft: Story Mode - Episode 6: A Portal to Mystery, Telltale Games, XB1
Minecraft: Story Mode has always been something of a strange animal to me. The idea of taking an open world environment and putting a distinct narrative on it proved challenging for the team at Telltale Games early on, but as the series continued over subsequent episodes, it grew stronger. Characters became better rounded out and the narrative proved more interesting by the end. Episode 6 picks up with our friends from the earlier chapters, but feels tacked on despite some solid pacing and fun story idea.
Bandai Namco Entertainment did lots of E3 show and tell
June 22, 2016Bandai Namco Entertainment, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, God Eater 2: Rage Burst, God Eater: Resurection, NECROPOLIS, News, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, Tales of Berseria, Tekken 7
While most of these games did not get the coverage others did, there are some titles in here that are absolutely going to be of interest to our team and based on history, you our readers. Tekken 7 was a big one for me personally, but there were lots of other notable titles shown off and discussed as well.
Among the Sleep - Xbox One Review
The premise is an interesting one, and though the pacing could be seen as slow by some, I appreciated the slow burn buildup found in this otherwise somewhat brief horror game. Krillbrite Studio certainly knows how to build tension, and Among the Sleep is a tense exercise in horror that pays off during its short running time.
Ara Fell - PC Review
Everyone knows that nothing can ever go wrong when walking into an adventure that so happens to be in a hidden cave that is apparently also haunted. Perfectly proving this point are Lita and Adrian who find all sorts of trouble once they open doors that may have been better left closed. Nah. Who we kidding? This is the stuff dreams are made of.
Sniper Elite 4 Launch Date Kicks Off 2017's Season of Big Hitters
Originally it looked like Sniper Elite 4 was going to get a late release in 2016, but it has been pushed back just a little.
Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide Drachenfels - PC Review
The Skaven have been faced at every turn from the streets to the sewers and a very high and magical tower that could bend reality. Wizards, they don’t do anything half-assed. Following in the steps of Schluesselschloss, Drachenfels is the next entry into Warhammer The End Times Vermintide.

With the Beta stage behind it and the Lite Demo currently available for PlayStation Vita users to try everything out, the full version of Grand Kingdom is now available on this system. With seventeen different classes in order to make four person squads with four separate nations in order to fight for, there are more than enough combat scenarios for your band of mercenaries to take part in both on and offline.

New Attack on Titan Trailer
With E3 in our recent rear-view mirror, there is no shortage of game information and trailers. Still, there are a few that flew relatively under the radar, so this week we'll be pointing some of them out.
SCUF Gaming Infinity 4PS - Hardware Review
SCUF Gaming is the premiere controller manufacturer for last and current generation systems. We recently reviewed the Xbox One Infinity1 controller and loved it, and after a grueling 6+ month wait, the new SCUF Infinity 4PS is finally here! We were fortunate enough to build a custom unit, matte black with blue face buttons, short concave analog sticks, SCUF's control disc, and various other goodies.
Homefront: The Revolution - Xbox One Review
June 20, 2016CGRreview, Dambuster Studios, Deep Silver, Homefront: The Revolution, Microsoft Xbox One, XB1, Xbox One
Homefront has something of a troubled past; from well-documented development woes to a sorely inept open Beta test, it has seen its share of ups and downs. I was amongst the few critics that seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed the original Homefront released last generation. It was tough, unforgiving, and followed a line of thought that I think has touched nearly every American at some point; "What would happen if we were invaded?" One of my favorite movies growing up was Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen's "Red Dawn" and Homefront had a storyline VERY similar to it.
