  • Hot Wheels Let's Race: Ultimate Speed - Xbox Series X|S Review

Hot Wheels Let's Race: Ultimate Speed is a game based on a Netflix cartoon series. I never knew about it until I reviewed this game, so I am unsure whether the game is anything like the show, but I can tell you what I do know, having played it.

  • Sacred 2 Remaster - PS5 Review

It's 2008. I'm halfway through my second college certification which will propel me onto my career path. My PC is getting older, it's not running the software I need. Sacred 2, which I've been waiting on forever to come out after playing the original Sacred and its expansion, is here.

  • Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault - PC Review

The long awaited sequel to Moonlighter is finally here after many years in development as well as a slight delay from the original release date. Digital Sun launched Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault into early access and I'm loving what I'm seeing so far.

The second chapter of King's Quest is due out Dec 16

I have been wondering when we would see the second chapter, given how fond I was of the first. It looks like we now have our answer.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut - PC Review

Neocore Games have now unleashed the mother of all Hack and Slash titles. Combining the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing I, II, and III into one large and action packed title, return to the realm of Borgovia where mad science meets the supernatural and the unknown. No longer barred in separately released instances, join Van Helsing (Jr) and his ghostly companion the Lady Katarina as they return to the city of Borgova for a much longer stay that incorporates changes, upgrades, and enhancements as the whole trilogy can be experienced in the same playstyle with one of six classes.

Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition - Xbox One Review

Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition for the Xbox One is a faithful and brilliant port of what is, arguably one of the best computer roleplaying games that we have seen in years. Larian Studios' originally released Divinity: Original Sin last year to great fanfare and overwhelming praise. When they released the port coming to consoles, with added features (couch co-op! more voice acting!) it was, shall we say "highly anticipated?" The hype machine is common these days but it is extremely rare that a studio can actually deliver… and deliver Larian Studios did. Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition is a spectacular RPG title that must not be missed.

Bridge of Spies - Movie Review

A friend of mine asked me to watch Bridge of Spies with him. I was afraid this going to be another Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy but thankfully it was not. The story is about a successful American lawyer who defends a soviet spy arrested during the Cold War in America.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation - PC Review

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation gets my vote for "most bizarre, yet astonishingly swell title in a video game" for 2015. To match the equally bizarre title, Re;Birth3 is the third PC port of the long-running and lovable JRPG titles. Like its predecessors, Re;Birth3 V Generation brings another campy yet lovable title in the same challenging, fanservice-filled, style. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation is an admirable, if wordy, successor to Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2 Sisters Generation.

Just Dance 2016 - Xbox One Review

Just Dance 2016 is the latest of the annual release of Ubisoft's popular dance game. To the less rhythmically challenged gamer, Just Dance 2016 is a yearly reminder that gaming can be both fun and physically exhausting. However, the latest iteration of the series does not bring enough to the table to entice new players to pick the game up at full price. The Showtime and World Video Challenge modes are welcome additions but not enough to really drive home an ultra successful title. On the other hand, Just Dance 2016 is in no way a bad game; simply more of the same.

Dark Souls III has a release date and more

At this stage of the game, I don't think the Dark Souls titles need a whole lot (or really, any) introduction. We have been huge fans since the original Demon's Souls and that has not changed over the last couple of excellent Dark Souls releases. Let's just say - we're excited for this.

What makes a game memorable? (Part 4) - Gaming Thoughts

What Makes a Game Memorable?

Nostalgia is a strange thing. Sometimes I swear things remain important to me because of a specific event or a feeling attached more than the game itself. Slow paced tactical experiences of Civilizations and Disgaea, faster paced platformers like Tiny Toons and Shovel Knight, to epic length RPGs like Lunar Silver Star Story / Eternal Blue and Nier make up so many hours of my life but all had lessons to impart. If you fail over and over again, maybe it’s time for break or a different game!
