Orcs Must Die! 2 - PC Review

There is something about the strategy involved with tower defense games that sits really well with me.  I have only played a handful so far, but enjoyed them all to differing degrees.  My favorite to date has probably been Defense Grid.  That being said, I think Orcs Must Die 2! may well equal or surpass Defense Grid for that top spot.

Chaltire's Mediocre Blog - huh, say what?

So, I mentioned earlier this summer that my son would be starting up his own gaming blog.  Well, it finally happened.  He's been poking around several of the other sites on here of late such as Coffee With Games, Digitally Downloaded and Gamesoup as he slowly dipped his toes into things.  Now, he has Chaltire's Mediocre Blog.

What I've been posting about elsewhere

Slightly different title than what I usually go with, but there is a reason for that.  Otaku Gaming will be merging over to Digitally Downloaded going forward.  So, this will probably be my last post where I am linking to articles directly at Otaku Gaming.  So what will change?  Hopefully my articles will get even more readers, but... that's about it.

I will continue to post the same kinds of stories over on Digitally Downloaded, including some additional ones now as well.  I fully plan to keep posting here on Chalgyr's Game Room as well, so feel free to visit my articles on both sites until you are completely sick of me (it likely won't take long).

So, to start things off - I have guest written reviews on Digitally Downloaded in the past, but I got to self-post my first review for them, and the game was an excellent one to be sure.  Orcs Must Die! 2.  I will be getting a review up over here as well, but if you are really curious to see what I thought of the game, feel free to read this review in the meantime.

Dungeons - PC Review

Do you know what one of my favorite feelings in all of gaming is?  Sure, there are a handful of correct answers here - like an emotionally satisfying story, finding an Easter egg, beating a friend in multiplayer and becoming lost in a graphically amazing moment are all among them.  However, I really, really love stumbling onto a great game that I had low to moderate expectations for.

Dungeons unfortunately is not one of those feeling-inducing games.
